Turn Signal Lamps
The turn signal lamps may only be activated with the ignition switch in RUN or BULB TEST position. The T/SIG fuse supplies ignition voltage to the turn signal switch. When the turn signal switch is placed in either the left or right position, the turn signal switch sends an ignition voltage to the hazard lamp/turn signal flasher, which sends an on-off signal to the turn signal switch. When the turn signal switch receives the on-off signal it will send that signal to the following lamps on the LH or RH side:
?€¢
The Rear Turn Lamp

?€¢
The Turn Signal Indicator

?€¢
The Sidemarker Lamp

?€¢
The Sideview Mirror (Pontiac Thunder only)

The turn signal switch also sends a separate on-off signal to the Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) control module, which relays the signal to the appropriate front turn signal. The front turn signals are grounded at G101 and G102. The rear turn signals are grounded at G401. The sidemarker lamps are grounded through the corresponding front parklamp.
The sideview mirror turn signals are a bank of LEDs placed behind the mirror glass.
The hazard lamps operate on battery voltage. The HAZARD fuse supplies battery voltage to the turn signal switch. When the hazard switch is pressed, the turn signal switch sends battery voltage to the hazard lamp/turn signal flasher, which sends an on-off signal to the turn signal switch. The turn signal switch send the on-off signal to all the turn signal lamps, causing all the lamps to flash including both IPC turn signal indicators. The hazard lamp/turn signal flasher is grounded at G200.
When the parklamps are ON, the sidemarker lamps receive voltage from the park lamp supply voltage circuit and illuminate. The sidemarker lamp is grounded through the corresponding rear turn signal. When the turn signal switch is place in the left or right hand position, the rear turn signal illuminates and the sidemarker lamp will loose its ground, causing the sidemarker lamp to turn off when the turn signals are on and to illuminate again when the turn signal is off.
Which blub an socket did you replace ? check the other blub ? The switch and or the flasher module can cause this problem .
Replace the turn signal switch. Refer to Multifunction, Turn Signal, and Hazard Switch Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column.
Did you complete the replacement?

Which

Testimonial: "The little bulb on side flashes faster then normal when turn signal is on but the front dont come on at all and rear light flashes fast too. Driver side works good and hazard lights works good on all lights flashing at same speed but the front marker dont do anithing other then be on but only when head lights are on."

2005 Saturn Ion front passenger turn signal not working

Did you replace the bulb in the passenger side running light/turn signal socket? There are two filaments in that bulb, one for the running light (which you indicate works) and one for the turn signal. If that bulb (filament) is burned out, it will make the turn signal flash faster. I don't know why you were swapping headlights, don't know where the fire box under the hood is, and don't know what a jumper sore is, so can't help you any further. I have a Saturn Ion, and have never found a fire box or jumper sore in it.

Passenger side front turn signal/DRL do not work.

Dear Alex,
The problem is in the bulb, or the socket, or the wiring to these.
Whenever a turn signal flashes fast, know that one of the bulbs is not working.
You have already identified the problem as being the front one. Problem could be the hot wire, or the ground wire, or the ground connection to this bulb.
Start by taking a tester to the hot wire, and see if it is receiving electrical impulses when the turn signal is on.
( It probably is, unless the car has been in a wreck and has been improperly repaired.)
Then check the socket or the wires to is and see if the bulb is grounded.
I suspect the ground is defective, and either a new socket or a repair to the ground wire should fix you rights up.
God bless your efforts.

Right front side turn signal does not work replaced all bulbs and checked fuses headlight flashers work when hazards are on front to back except driverside turn signal ,in dash right stays solid left

I don't believe it would be a bad ground for just one light. It could be a wire, a socket connector, or the bulb socket itself. See if the wire has power at the socket when signaling left, with key on. If there is power, probably a bad socket or connector. If no power, check for power coming from flasher-the wire going to front left, or driver's side. If you have power from the flasher, but nothing at the socket, the wire has probably broken.
Good luck.

Turn signal bulb was working, now it isnt

its is not uncommon for the contacts in the sockets to become corroded or just expand to the point of where they do not contact the bulb, try to test the socket with a multimeter for voltage,if it has voltage then its most likely the contacts, which sometimes can be rebent, but replaceing the sockets is a better solution, and can be picked up at most stores or 4x4 shops and junk yards.

Signal lights flash faster than normal, back signals work front ones do not, front lights work when head/parking lights turned on.

The fast signal flashing indicates that you have a burned bulb (or one of the bulb elements is burned).
Based on your saying it's the front one on the side your flasher control is set when the signal light flash faster

By a new bulb light and replace the faulty one
hope it will help

No passenger side brake light. right flasher module going bad .

Check the rear bulb socket. You might even try wiggling the wires on the back of the socket while you have the signal on.

1990 acclaim signal and brake lights

You need to check for power & ground at left rear socket, and clean it & contacts in it well, and may have to squeeze socket a bit to supply better ground to outside of bulb base. If that doesn't work, poke wires going into back of socket with test light, with signal on, and if power present, replace the socket assy. About $5.00

Right front turn signal and side lights won't turn on when van turns to the right. Right rear light works but flashes faster than normal. Message center on dashboard also flashes faster than normal the...

Are you sure you have a good ground at those bulbs ? Spray sockets good with cleaner or penetrating fluid, (WD-40 or similar) clean contacts at bottom and try to squeeze or pry outside of socket inward to help get better contact with side of bulbs and see if that helps. If 12 Volt test light confirms power to contact in socket, then I'd be looking for a bad ground. Careful not to touch side while checking contact at bottom of socket or you'll blow a fuse real quick.
