Hello, if the water in the radiator was quite low, before topping up, there could be an airlock in the system. Does the internal heater blow hot air? If it only blows cold air, even when the control setting is set to hot this indicates either low water level or air lock in the heater matrix or pipe feeds to it. Quite a few models have bleed valves on the pipe runs under the bonnet just before the bulkhead.
Hope this helps you.

SOURCE: maintenance required light

I just tried this and it worked!
I got it from this site:
http://lifeisafairytale.wordpress.com/2007/08/21/yaris-and-the-maintenance-required-light/

  1. open car door
  2. put key in ignition
  3. keep door open while turning key to “ON” position (not starting the car, just ‘ON’)
  4. turn the odometer to “TRIP A”
  5. hold down the odometer reset button and quickly turn the car to ‘OFF’
  6. now wait 5-10 seconds and turn the car back to “ON” while STILL holding down the button
  7. a few ——- (dashes) should appear and a countdown will begin and it will reset itself.
  8. now your light is off and you can start your car!

SOURCE: Engine light is on.

Your vehicle’s computer system has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with some of the components it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the Check Engine or Service Engine Soon lights to tell you that there is a problem and you should have the car diagnosed and repaired. Not fluid related, but could be a small problem that's easy to fix now. Even a loose gas cap can turn the light on. Have a code scan, that's the starting point.

What happened? My Car will not drive forward or reverse, front wheels are now locked, can't even push it.

This is a transmission related issue. If the vehicle starts but will not go in any gear you have an intrernal tranny problem. Will it move at all in neutral? Check and see if the trans fluid is at the proper level. I believe these transmissions are just drain and fill ( no filter change ) during fluid service. If the fluid level is correct and a good color, the internal differential may have come apart causing the lock up situation. If the fluid level is low ( suspect a leak especially after a service ) and low fluid will cause a no shift/drive issue

While i was doing off road driving a warnning light (a/t oil temp) turn on, i looked underneath the car and i found oil leak drop after drop, not too sure now should I change the transmition oil and filter...

Change the transmission fluid and filter. The light says fluid temp. is high, so you may have some burnt fluid-deadly for transmissions. Drop the trans. pan and look for metal shavings-too much will indicate failure of transmission parts. If not too much, you may be alright with fluid and filter change.
Stop the leak,. make sure it is trans. fluid, not motor oil. If motor oil, stop the leak and change oil and filter. I would do the transmission regardless, since the light came on.

sounds like possible lifter ticking due to lack of service. offer to pay for an oil change and drive the car for a couple of days to see if ticking noise quietens down. if it doesn't you may be looking at replacing the lifters.

I have a 2003 Jetta TDI with 90k. Until recently I have consistently gotten 46-48 mpg. Over the past 3 months the mpg has been decreasing. The current mpg is about 30. I change the oil every 3k...

don't know about the MPG it could be a lot of things. I have a 2001 Jetta TDI. You should NEVER change the oil at 3K miles. VW recommends 10K miles for a reason. The Synthetic oil has additives to remove varnish and it does that but it needs some time to replace the varnish and properly protect sensitive engine parts. 3K is oil changes are not a good thing for a TDI......Just use the right oil and change at 10K

I had the oil changed and the manual transmission fluid changed 2-3 days ago. I noticed leaking today on the right front tire side. A few hours ago it died. Still has power (lights, radio) but...

I don't believe the transmission fluid being changed would have anything to do with the engine being dead. You could have a tranny with no fluid in it and the engine would still run. Wondering if your engine oil got changed correctly. I would pull out the dipstick for the engine oil and see how much is in there. If this is an error from an oil change place that has caused your engine to die because of their negligence, then you may have a legal issue on your hands. Good Luck.
