Need basic operating instructions for LG Intellowasher WD-1255FB

Hinge is probably corroded from detergent drips/spills. Replace hinge.

SURE VINEGER IS VERY GOOD ON CLEANING WASHER

Check the Lid Switch Assembly with an Ohm meter for continuity, these switches are a common problem. Replace the switch assembly if faulty.

Manual suggests Exterior with household detergent. Do not use methylated spirits, diluents or similar products.
For internal, dry around the washer door and run washer through a complete cycle using just hot water... and repeat if needed.
Not sure about mould.... not in manual.
