Why are we getting persistent code 075?

When we changed the ink toner we keep getting a code 075 and it will not read our toner. We have tried several new toner cartridges and we get the same result. Is there anything we can do?

Users while working on Canon printers can sometimes come across an error message which will appear as canon printer error u075 by clearly defining that the device is well capable of reading the cartridge but it is detected in the wrong side.

Some Steps To Fix The Canon Printer Error u075 Step 1: open the printer's lid

  • Now, carefully remove both of the cartridges from the printer.
Step 2: Examine all label if the printer
  • Users are advised to examine the labels to make sure that one is in black color (PG-37/PG-40/PG-50/PG-510/PG-512/PG-540/PG-540XL) and the other one is colored (CL-38/CL-41/CL-51/CL-511/CL-513/CL-541/CL-541XL).
Step 3: Locate the printer
  • Locate carefully your printer slot for the black cartridge as well as the colored one by using indicators on the printer or the cartridge cradle.

Please help me with printer jam

Turn the printer off and on to see if it can automatically clear some or all of the jam. Many printers provide an error-code listing on the front panel display for the area where the jam occurred. If your printer shows an error code, be sure and check the printer manual to see if that identifies the area of the printer where the jam occurred.
Turn off the printer.
Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it in a bag or away from light to avoid damaging it.
If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly (see A). The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper (see B). Don't force anything, though.
Replace the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.
If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.
If you get toner or ink on your clothing, wipe it off with a dry cloth and then launder the clothing in cold water.
Watch out for loose toner or ink on jammed paper, and do your best to avoid spilling it on yourself or the printer. If a little bit of loose toner or ink gets in the printer, though, it should clear after a few sheets are printed.

Changed the drum & ink cartridge in HL-1440-ink bleeds on edge

Hi there,

This problem is often caused by spilled toner. Open the printer, carefully remove the cartridge, and give it a few bursts of compressed air. Often running several pages or type through will also fix this. If it persists, replace the toner cartridge.

Hope this initial info/idea helps. Let me know for any clarifications.
