I go a trail master go cart 150cc it will start then shut rite back off push gas in it starts but won't rev up clean card same thing got new car still same thing

hook up to car with a reader then push erase it will clear all codes the car will probebly shut down but will start rite back up

REMOVE AND CLEAN THE TROTTLE BODY

put a bottle of sea foam in it -otherwise carb needle valve stuck shut or fuel pump not pumping- Denny

How many miles are on it? Could be timing chain wear.

id look into fuel filter or pump may be too weak

Does your car seem to be down in power compared to what you would consider normal? If yes, I would get the MAF checked, and probably cleaned. New one is like 400 bucks, but they are easy to clean, and then act just like new again. You just have to be careful and gentle, cause if you should happen to break one of the sensor wires, its done. Otherwise, it sounds like its in the master computer, but isn't too serious a thing. Financially wise. When you release the accelerator, does it react immediately, or do you have to depress a few times before it seems to respond? Good luck.

first push starting it was bad. sounds like a stuck exhaust valve. and I think you had a dead ignition coil causing 1 cylinder not to fire,and it was fill with gas ,and then you forcing it to start did more damage

This is probably your cam sensor on the front passenger side of the engine on the front of the crank shaft get the part from the nearest dealer cost is under $40.00. It takes about 10 minutes. The timing pointer is part of the hold down for the sensor. Unplug the old sensor and undue the hold down bolt, twist back and forth as you pull it out. Reverse procedure to install new sensor.

the first thing i would do is to have the battery and charging system checked.and if that checks out then the next thing is to have the fuel preasure checked when it acts up, start there.

your master air flow sencor has go out or you need to have it clean sound like it has moister build up get a can of mafs cleaner at your local auto parts
