Call forwarding is NOT a function or feature of the VTech
cordless phones.

It is offered by some telephone service providers, but their
procedures are proprietary and specific to that individual
telephone (service) company -- if they offer it at all.

Good luck!

SOURCE: Call fordwarding

I forward my office phone by dialing 72# and the number.

Your office phone may be on a system that did the forwarding, or you may have to CANCEL call forwarding (73#) before you can set it.

SOURCE: LAND LINE TELEPHONES: Can you not assign a long distance carrier?

Yes you can have your phone set to local calls only.
You have to speak with your service provider and tell them you no longer wish to be able to call long distance from your house phone. but still want local calls only.

SOURCE: Nortel T7316E Call Forwarding - Outside Line

The Nortel call forwarding (feature 4) is for forwarding the ringing and intercom from one extension to another.ex. if you were going to be working in the conference rm. instead of at your desk, with the forward on to the conference rm. extension, the calls you get at your desk will transfer to the conference rm. phone. Call forwarding through your service provider is done by accessing the telephone line you wish to forward, dial *72 (you should get dialtone reordered)and dial the telephone number to where you want the calls to be forwarded to. the party on where your forwarding the line to has to answer the line for the forward to take place. to remove call forwarding , access the line you have the forward on and dial * 73, you should recieve a stuttered dialtone for confirmation that the service is off

HOW DO I FORWARD A CALL TO ANOTHER PHONE?

On the Land line phone, dial *72 then you should hear the dial tone again. Enter the 10 digit cell phone number that you want the land line call to go to, hang the phone back up.
*73 will set the calls back to the land line when you no longer need the calls forwarded to the cell phone.

Can i re-direct calls from my bt studio 1100 cordless land line to my mobile when i am out

to forward the calls from your landline to your mobile, you have to use a certain code then enter your mobile number. For example, to forward the phone calls from my house line to my mobile, I hear the dial tone then press *72 then my cell number. To cancel this I must enter *73. So it really doesn't matter what type of landline phone you use.
I don't know where you live and what the code may be, but you can try it. You can always call your phone provider and ask for the code.

Here is a link that will help. Good luck

How does one forward incomming calls on a uniden 2.4ghz cordless phone?

Cordless phones can not 'forward' a call to an outside line.
Forwarding must be controlled by the ATT, Verizon, or landline provider.
Please contact your provider to determine if you have call forwarding feature built into your service package.

Then, follow the instructions of your landline phone provider.
Here is the instructions for Verizon:

Activating Call Forwarding
You can activate Call Forwarding whenever you want your calls to be sent to another phone, including a mobile phone. Once activated, all your calls will be sent to the forwarding number you request. Each time a call is forwarded, you will hear one short reminder tone on your home phone, but you will not be able to answer the call from your home number.

  1. Lift your telephone's receiver and listen for a dial tone.

  2. Press star.gif7.gif2.gif.
In some areas you must use 7.gif2.gifpound.gif
Dial 1172 on rotary or pulse-dialing phones.

  3. When you hear the tone, set or change the Call Forwarding number by dialing the telephone number where you want your calls transferred.
You will hear the number you entered ring. When the number is answered, Call Forwarding is activated.

  4. If the call is not answered or the line is busy, hang up and call the number again within two minutes.
You will hear two short tones telling you that Call Forwarding is activated.

  5. Hang up the receiver.

How do i forward a call to a cell phone?

I believe your landline carrier just needs to have the capability of call forwarding (ie we utilize Verizon for our business). We also use the call forward feature by: picking up line, (hear dial tone) dial *72 [ then phone number you want calls to forward to, even a cell]. To discontinue: pick up line (hear dial tone) dial *73

Can i forward my home phone to cell phone

yes, providing you have that service through your provider. It's typically done by accessing your line and dialing *72 if the service is active you'll recieve a stuttered dialtone. then dial your cell phone number. once you've answered your cell the transfer is established. To deactivate call forwarding, from your home phone dial *73. you should recieve a stuttered dialtone confirming that the foward is off.

Transferr callers to cell phone

pick up the headset, dial *72 wait for the fast beeps to end, then dial your cell number. After the cell number rings, pick it up, hang up and your calls are forwarded. (You need to have the call forwarding feature from your land line provider). Dial *73 to release. I do this all the time with my system and it works fine...

Call forward to cell phone

Who provides your dial tone? You will have to find out their code for forwarding calls to a cell.

SBC/AT&T/Ameritech uses #72, then dial the number you want to forward to
