I think you will very unhappy if you mount it on the carry handle. I suggest removing it and getting a Nikon M-223 mount, YOu might also want to check out the M-223 line of scopes. The 3-12x42 with Rapid Action Turret might really surprise you. I don't have one freind who hasn't tried mine out and not bought one. Hard to argue with that. That's up to you. All three of them are fine lenses. The 18-105mm covers a useful range by itself and makes for a wonderful "walking about" lens. But it only goes up to 105mm. If you want a longer lens to take pictures of things farther away, it won't do it.

The 18-55mm and 55-200mm together cover a longer range. The downside is that it's two lenses, so it's more you have to carry around and you will lose some time changing between them.

There are other combinations. I personally have the 18-105mm and the 70-300mm, which gives me more reach than the 200mm. Nikon also has an 18-200mm lens, which in one lens covers the range you're considering with two lenses.

As I said first, the decision is yours. Only you know how much range you need for the pictures you want to take, how much weight you're willing to carry, and possibly most important, how much money you're willing to spend.

There may be a short cut because of the humidity. First dry it.

On my Laser 500 G I held both buttons down simultaneously for a short time and it began finding pins again.

The 70-300 is less expensive and lighter. The 100-400 has a longer reach. Only you can decide which factors are the most important to you.

yes,,,! reset the unit and place the battery while charging it, in order to function the source of the unit!!!
