How can I fix a paper jam in my Panasonic 4530 ?

look inside the printer, some where in or around where the paper feeds from the area there is a piece of paper that is stuck or has ripped off inside the machine, you going have to look with flashlight follow the feed rollers and you will find paper, paper clip, a staple, dirt, something blocking the rollers or feeder from working right.

Lexmark X4550 all-in-one Paper feeds only half way then jams

Frances;
I'm not Lexmark certified; however, paper motion fails are generic in nature. Paper motion fail can be a bit difficult to diagnose at a distance...
* If it jams at every sheet then check to insure there is not a bit-o-paper stuck from a previous jam.
* If it has been an issue that has been increasingly getting worse than I'd replace the pick-up roller(s)
* Lexmark's support page for your printer is below. (You can also find a service prover too)
* Parts order for your printer is also below. You can determine at the support page if your comfortable replacing pick-up rollers in that model printer.
support lexmark com Service Parts
Note:
* Frequently people tear a jammed sheet when it comes out leaving pieces behind. BAD! When you get a torn sheet in your printer insure you retrieve all the pieces. Those left behind guarantee a jam on your next try.
* Paper jams not caused by debris in the path or worn pick-up roller(s) is beyond user maintenance.

Our Brother 4100E fax machine keeps printing blank pages. We clearred the memory but it keeps printing.

It sounds as though the laser shutter has stuck down. Open the front door. in the top left corner of the door aperature there is a slot for the door open sensor which also acts as the shutter cover arm. If will have stuck. Just push something into the hole (you wont get a shock as there is nothing electical behind it) You will feel a click. Now close the door and see if it prints now.
Hopefully all should be well.

Hello paper jam error appears with no paper jammed. Then printer refuses to print or doesn't print well

Hi,

To resolve paper jam issue, follow the steps
1. Open the rear access door.
2. Remove any bits of paper stuck.
3. Clean the rollers using lint free cloth ( upward position )
4. Close the rear access door
5. Open the front panel door
6. Check for any paper stuck between the rollers.
After doing all these steps, to make sure if your printer is working fine, try to make a copy.

Hi my printer jammed at the beginning feed, and eventhough I cleared the paper, now each time I try to print the same jam happens. Anything I can try other than bringing it to a service center ?

Carefully inspect the paper path and find what stops the paper from moving. Sometimes there is a piece of paper, paperclip or staple stuck in the paper up turn. Usually the paper is wrinkled on that place after removal.
Try manual feed (yes, there is manual feed tray behind that narrow long door in front between the paper tray and the toner access door)
Clean the pickup roller. If it's worn out, try to remove it (there are plastic latches that hold it on place) and turn the rubber part in a way that non worn area covers the protruding part.

PAPER JAMMED

You have a stuck sensor.

Open the rear door and make sure there is no paper in there.

Remove your toner from the drum and make sure there are no bits of paper stuck under the toner cartridge.

l
Look inside the drum chamber for the little plastic levers that actuate the sensors. Make sure they move back and fourth freely.
