SOURCE: remote access to voice mail

from a tt phone, after the message, hit * your ext # and then your pswrd.
it's just like retreiving your messages from an ext not your own.

from there you can change your access info in the admin section.
pause 5 secs and listen to the prompts from the vm syst itself.

SOURCE: Meridian M7310 phone system

We had a tech come in who has worked on the system a long time ago and he said because of the power surge it fried the Star Mini. He said they are hard to get and may have to search on Ebay. We only had a battery backup instead of a UPS.
So for now we are without voicemail.

SOURCE: We have the Norstar Meridian (M7310)telephone

Could be two things, there could be a general delivery mailbox attached to the system which is mail box 100, or the new service provider has a off premisis voicemail attached to the lines. if there is VM on the lines you should get a stuttered dial tone on the line indicating that you have a voice mail.

How do i change the voicemail on my landline and how do i retrieve messages on telkom landline.

Hello, Janine -

The voice mail and message service for your landline phone is provided by your landline service provider. If you did not receive a printed booklet directions for your landline phone service, I suggest you call your landline telephone service provider Customer Service number (Telkom) and ask for one.

From the Telkom web site, this looks like the number to call:
10210

Best wishes

Voice mail not working

The Voice Mail system provides the voice mail service based on the existing network. When a call is transferred to the VM system, the system asks the calling party to leave a message for the called party when the called party is busy, powered off, or out of the service area. It provides voice mail, call prompt, and voice short message and email. By adopting VM service, operators' system put-through rate, service usage rate, customer satisfaction, and revenue can be improved.

My cordless phone model #16725 w/answering machine (old model) has a blinking lite with a message saying "new voice mail" How do I retrieve this message?

If theres a play, play message, or voice mail button on the base/main charger, try that.
Or maybe your phone service has its own voice mail, in which case, try dialing your own phone number.
