How do i disassemble my hoover f7220

Hi there! The tanks, brushes, nozzle and handle can be removed from the cleaner by following these quick steps below.

1. To remove the clean water tank simply grasp the handle and push down on handle to unlock it, then pull the tank out by the handle.
2. To remove the dirty water tank, slide the latches open located on the sides of the cleaner that hold the tank to the base of the cleaner. Grasp the handle and pull up and off.
3. For brush removal, with the handle in the upright position, tilt cleaner back until handle rests on floor. Grab brush assembly and pull firmly.
4. To remove the nozzle, with handle in upright position, tilt cleaner back until handle rests on floor. Pull tab at rear edge of nozzle and pull forward to remove nozzle.
5. For handle removal simply remove the handle screw and lift up on handle.

Disassembly beyond this point is not recommended. Hope this helps!

I have a Dyson DC25 bagless. The vacuum head drops down further than it is supposed to when the vacuum is picked up or tilted back. What is supposed to limit the amount that it rotates downward?

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC25. When you stand your cleaner upright, the locking arm should secure the cleaner head in place automatically. If it doesn't seem to be doing this, it's probably best if you get in touch with us directly. You can call us free on 08002980298 (UK), or 1866MYDYSON (US). One of our experts will be happy to run through some troubleshooting over the phone with you and recommend the best course of action.

Kind regards

Cant get the front of the dyson to flip down to do upright hoovering is there some sort of lock on it?

Hi there,

To lower the cleaner head into the vacuuming position, you should be able to place one foot on the side of the cleaner head and tilt the upper body backwards, as shown in the user guide:

http://media.dyson.com/downloads/uk/floorcare/manuals/dc33_uk_manual_260710.pdf

If you're unable to do this, please get in touch with us free on 08002980298 (UK), or 1866MYDYSON (US), so we can run through some checks over the phone.

Kind regards,

On my dyson DC24 the beater bar attachment is not working.

Hi its Darran at Dyson.

You may to simply re-set the brush bar. The cleaner head will automatically switch the brush bar off to protect the motor should the brush bar become obstructed. To re-set this, switch the machine off, stand it upright and locate the red re-set switch on the side of the cleaner head. Push this re-set switch in as far as you can and then switch the machine back on. Once lowered into the vacuuming position, the brush bar should start turning.

If this doesnt resolve the issue, please contact our Helpline on 0800 298 0298 (UK) or 1866MYDYSON (US).

Kind regards
Darran
