My active care 1420 spitfire scotter wont start an is blinking green

You need to consult the owners manual to determine what
the blinking light means. It will flash from 1 to 9 times and
repeat the cycle. Count the number of flashes and refer
to the manual to see what the problem is.

When charging electric mobility scooter, the yellow light never changes to green.

defective batteries or charger, try to charge the batteries one at a time with a car charger, if they charge then replace the charger, if they do not then the batteries are in need of replacment.

No forward, only backward

Hi. If the light flashes 7 times, it has a speed controll fault. It might be the throttle lever ( wig wag ), or it might be the speed pot that controls your top speed.
Try moving the throttle lever ends up and down while you are driving the machine. Doing this wont fix it, but it will highlight the problem, if the throttle lever is faulty. Also try moving the speed pot back and forward a few times.
Good luck. Neil.

I haVe two golden companion scooters that worked Perfectly. One day they just quit running. I know that when the light blinks a certain number of times in the manual it tells you what's wrong. Both of mine...

Hi. 5 flashes on some scooters is the fault code for brake coil open circuit. This usually means that the free-wheel lever is in the wrong position.
Someone might have moved the levers so that they could push the scooters, and forgot to put the levers back to the correct position.
This fault code can also mean that the solenoid coil is faulty, but 9 times out of 10, it is the lever in the wrong position.
Good luck. Neil.

When I try to go forwards or backwards the red light flashes and I donot move

Hi. Count the flashes between the pauses, it is a fault code. Try putting free-wheel lever in the correct place. Different numbers of flashes mean different faults. Let us know. Good luck. Neil.
