Washer fills extremely slow. Hoses are fine water

Hi, check to see if there's good water volume coming through the hoses attached to the washing machine. If there is, check to see if the screens inside the water-inlet valve are clean. (The water-inlet valve is the device on the washing machine that the fill hoses are attached to.) If they're clean, you probably have a defective water-inlet valve. If so, you should completely replace the valve.

As the washer fills, the water stream cycles, slow - fast.

YOU CAN GO TO LOWES IN THE PLUMBING SECTION AND BUY A PRESSURE RELEASE FOR THAT PROBLEM. JUST ASK THE LOWES PLUMBING GUY

Whirlpool GR2FHTXVQ00 fridge. Water dispenser

The water inlet valve on the back of the unit where the water supply comes in can have a slow leak and will cause ice to buildup and block the fill tube. Disconnect the ice maker line from the valve and watch to see if it has a slow drip. It doesn’t take much to eventually block the fill tube.
The valve can leak because of sediment in the water preventing it from closing or low water pressure.

You can thaw out the fill tube and replace the inlet valves.

Cold water fill is very slow and makes strange sound

check with the plumbing work if that is fine then better take it to the dealer to change the inlet valve. attempting to change by yourself can cause other complications.

Water fills at a very slow rate.

Hi, check the exterior and interior hoses for kinks and, obstructions. i would also remove the outer inlet water hoses to check the screens at the water valve. if the hoses and, screens are clear of obstructions, this will lead to a fault water valve assembly. replace this damaged water valve asap in this case.

***. check the water pressure just to be safe. if the water faucets are not open fully, this will cause the slow fill as well. if the pressure is optimal, replace the water valve assembly.

Q - My washer fills slowly with water, what can I do ?
A - Two things could be your problem...
1) - sometimes the screens in the fill valve or inside the ends of the fill hose get clogged up...use a tooth brush to clean them out. Don't forget to shut off the water first before removing the hoses to check for this.
2) - The fill valve itself may not be opening fully = time for a new fill valve.

Amana washer has no hot water - cold works fine

There is a solenoid control valve on all washing machines, located where the water hoses enter the machine. If you have a rubber mallet, you can whack the machine gently with the mallet. If the problem is resolved, it was just a stuck valve. If not, then you likely will need to replace the whole solenoid valve control. Typically there are controls for each water supply.
