JRC World Marine Transceiver. The transmitter did not work we checked handset found ok, we checked antenna found ok.

If the handset and antenna have been checked and found to be functioning properly, there may be an issue with the transmitter itself. It could be a problem with the wiring or circuitry, or possibly a malfunctioning component. It would be best to have the JRC World Marine Transceiver inspected and repaired by a qualified technician or the manufacturer.

SS 5010 not sensing outside temperature. I replaced the batteries in the transmitter and pressed the TX. However, the display inside just keeps blinking. I can see the inside temperature.

Inside temp is separate from outside...no connection whatsoever. If the outside transmitter has new power and fails, it may have gotten wet inside and may be rendered useless. Replace with a new outdoor transmitter.

How do i reprogram MMSI numbers into JRC JSB-196

This is a nice piece of gear, but I am afraid you are going to need the help of a service department that can service JRC gear. I believe you are going to need a hard disk with info. It should have come with radio.

857d does not display tunr icon when set up for atu operation

In the extended menu, double check the "tuner mode". Sometimes the 857 requires a "factory reset" (also in the extended menus) to get it working with external antenna tuners.

Furuno at 1500 atu

This works for the Furuno 1501-Make sure your connections are the same:#1 provide 15V & gnd to tuner(12V works) #2 connect coax between tuner & Xmtr / antenna to tuner #3 set radio to transmit CW carrier @ no more than 10W #4 momentarily short tune to gnd, this will initiate tune process. Watch SWR meter/ listen for tuner to complete, stop 10W carrier & return radio to normal status. I use mine remotely mounted with a 3 wire control cord & a box with a push button momentary switch back at the radio. Connections are 12V & gnd from the power supply to tuner, tune back to control box where the button shorts it to ground to tune.

What are the options to print the TX Terminal ID on received pages?

Answer :
The TX Terminal ID settings enables you to specify whether the sender information is printed at the top of every document that you send via i-fax. Information such as your i-fax address is printed, enabling the recipient to know who sent the document.

Note: If you set TX Terminal ID to 'On' you can also set the position of the Terminal ID information which is printed on the recipient's paper.

The default settings are:

TX Terminal ID: On
Printing Position: Outside
Display Destination Name: On

1) Press Additional Functions

2) Communications Settings

3) TX Settings under Common Settings.

4) Press the up or down arrow keys until you see TX Terminal ID

5) Select On or Off

If you select ON:
Select the printing position of the Terminal ID information, select 'On' or 'Off' for display Destination name, press OK.

Printing Position:
Inside: The Terminal ID information is printed inside the image area on the recipient's paper.
Outside: The Terminal ID information is printed outside the image area on the recipient's paper.

Display Destination Name
On: The destination's name registered in the Address Book is displayed in the Terminal ID information.
Off: The destination's name registered in the Address Book is not displayed in the Terminal ID information.

If you select OFF
Press OK

6) Press Done repeatedly until the Send Basic features screen appears.

Low TX PWR/ATU won`t tune. No SWR and ALC metwr reading?

You've replaced the pre driver, the drivers and finals. Set bias and still low output. The pre driver is the same transistor used as the tx exciter transistor on other pcb chassis on bottom of radio. Follow the gray coaxial wire from the pre driver on the RF circuit board back to the tx/rx i.f. Circuit board. The gray coax cable plugs right next to the tx exciter transistor on this pcb. Again it's on a different pcb all together and on the bottom of the radio and also. Replace it! And check for open bias or emitter to ground chip resistor next to it. You will get your drive back. Very few rigs have I seen the actual Finals blown in the mosfet or the bipolar version. Just the driver stage with a week pre driver and the SMT "pre" pre driver on the same RF pcb. And the tx exciter on the other pcb.
