Do you have an instruction manual for this particular serger? I need one right away.

I bought the machine used. The seller did not include an instruction manual with the machine. It is not easy to operate the machine without a manual. I want my daughter to have it to do her crafting. She will need the instruction manual to learn how to operate the machine, especially how to thread it.

SOURCE: Threading the Bobbin

Place the bobbin in the bobbin case making sure the thread feeds clockwise. Draw the thread through the slot on the case. Continue to draw under the tension spring and through the opening pulling out about 6" of thread. Hold the latch open, position the bobbin case into the suttle and release the latch. THe case should lock into place when the latch is relaeased.

With the top thread, hold out about 5" to the left. While holding on tot he top thread, turn the hand wheel toward you and you should see a loop at the feed dogs. grab the two thread and bring them behind the presser foot.

SOURCE: threading a husqvarna huskylock 1001L serger

Solution taken from "Handbook for Huskylock Sewing Machine Models 1001L/1000L/1000"

1. Raise the presser foot by using presser foot lever. When the presser foot is raised, the two thread tension discs in the thread tension control panel are released so that thread passes freely between them. Otherwise thread tension may not be correct.

Important! When threading the needle, always be sure to lift the presser foot lever, and also take care to thread in the proper order.

Threading order:
1. Upper looper thread (green)
2. Lower looper thread (blue)
3. Double chain stitch looper thread (purple) in case of 5 thread stitch or double chain stitch
4. Right needle thread (red)
5. Left needle thread or double chain needle thread (yellow)

Caution!
Because the left thread tension dial (yellow) is used for either the left needle or the double chain stitch needle, these needles will never be used at the same time.

Upper looper (green) sequence:
1. Thread holder (silver triangle openings attached to thread holder stand)
2. Thread guide (flat silver clips just behind thread tension disc)
3. Thread tension disc (circular knobs with numbers for tension setting)
4. Pull thread around upper looper guide and upper looper
5. Pull thread into hole of upper looper

Lower looper (blue)
Repeat 1, 2, 3.
4. Pull thread around guide (see color coded chart inside front serger cover).

Easy threading mechanism (for lower looper)
1. Pull out the lower looper threading lever
2. Thread the lower looper and position the thread on hook of the lower looper
threading lever.
3. Push the lower looper threading lever back to its basic position while
holding the end of the thread.

Caution:
When returning the lower looper threading lever, always make sure that the two
blue triangle marks (directional arrows) meet each other.

Right needle thread (red)
Left needle thread (yellow)
Important: Thread the needles after threading of lower looper and upper looper.
First raise the presser foot lever, and then thread the needle threads in order shown in color coded thread guide.

SOURCE: manual needed for white 734dw superlock eclectronic serger

I talked to custom service at White Sewing Company at 800-331-3164 and they directed me to a website to download the manual for free. Go to www.singerco.com and search for "wsl734" (white superlock 734). It probably has other manuals but I wouldn't have known what model number to search if she hadn't told me.

Where can I find a manual for my Babylock Special Edition Serger bls200?

Several of these sewing machines for sale on ebay.com and you might contact a seller to offer to purchase a copy of an instruction booklet they list.

Other copies of the manual are no longer available for sale on a web site that listed parts for that model.

Where can I get a owners manual for Homestyles sewing F08-702-H-01

Added 8 Jan 2018:
I did find a web page indicating one could download the user manual for your model HomeStyles sewing machine for free. However, when I tried it, it indicated I had to register (free) on the web site. When I went to the page to register, it required me to enter my credit card information. I went no farther, since by providing credit card information, I felt there was an opportunity for some scam (against me or anyone else who registered.)

Hello, Gertie -

If you check eBay.com listings for Sewing Manuals & Instruction (check on a daily basis), you may find someone selling just the manual for your machine. This is the link to the eBay category for Sewing Manuals & Instruction:
https://www.ebay.com/b/Sewing-Manuals-Instruction/41246/bn_7701794

If you check that category daily, choose to have the listings sorted by Newly Listed.

Also, I suggest you search the eBay category of Sewing Machines & Sergers daily, in hopes of finding someone selling your model of HomeStyles machine. If the seller lists the owner's manual with the machine, contact the her / him immediately through eBay and ask if he / she is willing to scan (PDF of JPEG format) or photocopy the manual and sell the file of the scanned document or photocopies pages to you. This is the link for the eBay category for Sewing Machines & Sergers:
https://www.ebay.com/b/Sewing-Machines-Sergers/3118/bn_7714181

I will keep on looking and add information to my answer, if I find anything for you.

I have a Brother 1034D serger that I just bought. I turned it on and tried to use it right out of the box. The motor goes but needles won't move. I tried rehtreading it with no luck

Um, I would return it immediately. If the needles do not move with or without thread, it is not a good thing. You machine is under warranty. Get it attended to right away.

Need a manual for the babylock 5360e serger

Try searching the internet for:

Make + Model + the word "Manual"

or contact the manufacturer. If it is an older model, it may be difficult to find a manual.

Need instructions on threading 4-434 overlock serger

Open up the front cover. There should be a diagram right there, and you want to thread your serger step-by-step per the color-coded diagram so that the needle is in time with the movement of the loopers. If you randomly go about threading it instead of in sequence, the threads will collide and you will create a jam. The usual threading order: Upper Looper, Lower Looper, Left Needle, then Right Needle. Do you have long serger tweezers? Do you have a Looper Threader? If not, these are great tools to assist you as the Lower Looper is threaded right to left- an eye all the way to the far left, so it helps to have the tweezers and Looper Threader to maneuver in this very tight area. Many new serger users don't realize that other eye is "hiding" and miss threading it! Hopefully, you have a manual with additional pictures to help guide you. If you need a manual, try allsewingparts.com and perhaps they have one specific to your serger. Note: When you insert your needles (make sure they are #11 and #14 specific for your particular machine), the left needle will be the same size as right needle, but will APPEAR higher once both are pushed up into each of their respective needle shafts. Note: Hold onto needles or put a piece of fabric under the area when changing them/replacing them because they can easily fall out causing damage to your machine. Hope this helps. Jimmy

Go back to the seller. If it was listed as new and does not work, the seller should either repair, replace, or refund. Note--you may need to get eBay involved in case the seller refuses to address the issue. EBay will refund your money and reverse the charge to the seller.
