Every time I receive a notification, my phone flashes it's light. How do I turn it off?

Turn off Message Waiting Notification temporarily

1. If you know you have a message waiting, but do not wish to retrieve it immediately, you can turn off Message Waiting Indicators.

Hello. By default it means that you got a text message or some kind of notification. If you are on the home page after opening the lock screen and your text messaging app doesn't show that it received a text message (if it shows it received a message there would be a one next to it, near "Messaging" app)
Then, with one finger.. touch the screen at the top of the phone and move finger down the screen (while still touching the screen).. you should see the notification area.. under the settings of that area it will show what is alerting you:

Settings>Device>Display>uncheck LED indicator:

I have a Moto G also and the flashing light is a notification it lets you know you'vyou've received either a call or text. You can turn this feature off in your phones settings.

Try leaving the phone on the hook and entering Intercom #409. You may have to do this a few times if the "phantom messages" are stacked up.

Try to check if you have entered same details (e.g. email address).

This is something you need to set up in your preferences in FaceBook. It sounds like you have Mobile notifications on, but not PC or email notifications (or at least not the same frequency).

first go to setting panel open it and open my devices panel. u will see it upper portion of ur screen. and then open it and scroll down there u will see accessibility option where a hand picture is showed. now u go to acessibilty option and then scroll down u flash notification option i hearing department just untick flash notification open. ur problem will be solved.

The flashing led light is part of most android phones. Different colors are associated with different apps. The flashing light is used to give a notification to the user. You should be able to go within the app settings and choose to turn off the flashing led light for specific apps. Hope this helps.

Goto Settings. Select Phone. Select Notification Lights and then turn off Breathing Light. Job done!
