My charger flashes red/green and does not charge my scooter. Any suggestions?

Mine is an Invacare M51 Pronto Surestep with an onboard Winsunny battery charger. My charging lights are solid red and green/ yellow. Depending on if it is charging or not. What kind of charger do you have?
I have to replace my charger because it is not working. My green light is staying green while charging even though my joystick is showing my batteries are depleting and I just got new batteries. sigh.

Blue, and light for the charger is green for charged

Hi I have 2 pride chargers & they both turn green when the batteries r charged cheers

I'm afraid your batteries have expired. They will show full voltage but the Amps are not being replenished.

How old is the battery? Most are only good for three years........

make sure battery cables are secure at battery terminals and clean.how old are the batteries.If the batteries run down fast they are no good.a good way to test them is put scooter against some thing solid and go forward.If the battery indicator drops to o the batteries are no good.It takes about 10 hours to charge the batteries

I have to ask, did you ever figure out what the issue was? My mother's scooter is having the same issue.

Hi okay if the red light is flashing , make sure you not in freewheel mode, it could be that the batteries are low , leave on charge for about 4 hours and test again.

Make sure the connector plug that fits from the frame to the handlebars is a good fit, this supplies power to the controller.

hi my son has not used the scooter for a while so i went to charge it and the green light comes on the charger straight away and the scooter is not working can you tell me what the problem is?
