Our LG 47LE5400 screen went black this morning, is the problem the main board, power supply or hopefully not the LCD panel?
The only thing that lights up are the TV buttons on the bottom TV frame (Power button, menu button, vol up, etc.). After the buttons light up for a few seconds, only the power button and the LG light stay lit until we shut off the TV with the remote or by pushing the frame power button. The screen stays black, no backlights are seen with or without the cover on, no images are seen using the flashlight test, no sound, nothing. We can not see any obvious burn marks or bulging components on the front or back of the two panels (power supply panel (part number EAY60803401) w/built-in invertor and LED drivers, main board panel (part number EBU60884302) w/built-in T-Con). Any ideas what to try or test next to eliminate a bad LCD panel?

Hi The main board have no repair. Only replacement can be done; because, in most cases ii will be multi-layered circuit board. Very like the computer motherboards. Those units usually have a main board that all the functions are centralized on. If the LED comes on then your power supply is operating (at least no shorts). But the main board will most likely be the problem.
