I cannot adjust the fader on my eq. or my head unit. And the front speakers cant handle the low notes. What are some options to take out the lows to only the front channels?

I want ways to block the low notes on my front speakers without buying an expensive crossover. Cheap & easy ways please. My system is low end.

Pioneer DEH-P47DH Front left speaker not working, if i press audio button, i get no option to adjust balance, just fader. left rear speaker works and plays as loudly as right rear speaker. Huh? bad...

Are you sure you wired up the head unit correctly? It is fairly uncommon for a audio output amplifier to blow out leaving 3 working speakers and 1 not working. So more than likely it is bad wiring or a blown speaker. Best bet would be get a digital multimeter and ohm out the speaker and see if it has continuity and is the same as the adjacent speaker. You could also try swapping the left/right channel wiring and see if the front right speaker stops working when connected to the left speaker output or vice versa.

Head unit connect

You will only be able to use this EQ on the front or the rear speakers. You will have to get another EQ if you think you need one. Usually, the front speakers of a car's audio system are the smallest and the rears are larger. You really do not want an EQ on the subs. If it was mine, I would hook the EQ between the head unit and the rear speakers. If you feel this does not sound right, you may need, but I doubt it very much, to get another EQ for the front speakers. Good Luck

Hey yesterday brought Samsung HT-550 home theater . my rear speaker voice is too low . i do settings & high the volume to +6 Db, but still same problem volume is too low . what is best EQ ? any...

The front speakers are the base against which you adjust everything else.

Adjust the front rear balance for 0dB.

Readjust the rest of the speakers using the test tones. Normal audio may not have a lot going on back there.

Out put to the back speakers are low

Check your fader control on the unit maybe it has been adjusted to supply more power to the front speakers.

How do i wire up a pioneer keh-2400r raido cassett player

usually the wires come with some labels at the end...just follow the labels. You might need to connect the memory wire to a constant 12v supply (not affected by ignition switch). Take note not to reverse the polarity of the speakers or else it would sound dull coz of the low freqs cancellation when wired wrongly. Caution: never reverse the supply polarities too! If you don't have rear speakers you can choose the front speaker connection instead. You might need to to adjust the fader later.

Equalizer setting help

try to use the preset equalizer settings after which you can come back to the parametric equalizer and adjust to your own taste. no problem if you don't connect the subwoofer just make sure you set the hi-pass filter to off so that you will hear the full range to your speakers. but, I advice you to put a subwoofer. There is more dynamics to the lower freqs too. don't adjust the source level if there is no problem. take note the EQ of your head unit is a parametric equalizer. hope this helps while you read about parametric EQs.

Amp went into protect, but front speakers sound distorted too

If the amp still goes into protect mode, the easiest thing to do is disconnect the RCA cables from the amp and see if still goes into protect mode (after turning off/on). If it does, the issue lies in the amp or the wiring to/from the amp (most likely case). Check to make sure no speaker wires came loose and touched +12V or ground (car body). From the sound of it, my guess is something internal to the amp died and will need repair.
