Archos titanium 80 tablet will not reset and start.i have used the factory reset on screen before the problem occured and could not make it work.i had to let batteryrunout,then i charged it fully.???

Can't exactly help you, but I'm in the same situation. I got a crack across the middle of the screen on my 43 while it was in my pocket. It seems like this might be a problem with the gen 8 tablets, but Archos is currently refusing to consider it defective.

To hard reset a tablet, hold the power button down until it shuts off then press it to turn back on. Should take about 5 - 10 seconds for the device to power off.

SOURCE: 4 sight tablet fully charge. Did not use for a few hours and had to reset for it to boot up. Happened twice in same day

It is a most likely a battery problem. Or humidity has gotten to it. It even could have over heated. To try to fix, replace the battery or place in a bag of rice if you think it got humidity in it. If none works than it is the software and it malfunctioned.

Hold down the power button and the volume up button after shutting it off.
You might need to flash new firmware.

Hi Holly, I will try and help, you will have to do a factory reset!

Hold volume up and power until you get recovery mode then using volume key to select wipe factory then click power then after finish select wipe cache then reboot.
