Quick answer: For all Amana serial numbers, the first two numbers are the year it was manufactured. If there is no dash or "-" in the serial number, then the next two numbers represent the month, 01 being January, 02 is February, etc.

The serial number is just a numerical reference of when it was made. The Model number is the import part.

Kenmore dryer will run for approximately five minutes. It then stops and throws a CLL SRU error code. I have researched this to mean "Call for Service". I have seen others potential causes that range from shorted heating element, to dirty lint screen/venting.

From my understanding your Frigidaire dryer will start and stop after 20 minutes, also the lights on the right side start flashing. Could you provide me with your model number, please? i have a kenmore electric dryer, replaced all major parts, and it still stops after 15 - 20 min after being on help please dont know what to do next cant afford a new dryer

Hello There,

1st- Check to see if your not running on overload with a clogged dryer hose the one that goes outside
2nd- your timer may be going bad or you have a bad sensor thats resetting itself.

Is this a newer model???? What year and model number?

is the inside drum turning?

Sounds like a thermal breakdown in the motor.
