I have a Hobart kitchen aid mixer and I need a Manuel for it.

Hello, Fran -

The Whirlpool Corporation purchased the Hobart Kitchen Aid manufacturing unit in 1985.

I suggest you contact the Whirlpool Corp. directly and ask about the availability of a copy of a user manual for your model of Hobart mixers. Whirlpool probably took over the Hobart Kitchen Aid archival records. With luck the manual you need is still in the company archives.

This is the link to the Whirlpool Corp. Contact Us page:
https://www.whirlpool.com/services/contact-us.html

Best wishes.

My Kitchen aid Ksm90 mixer got a little noisy, then it just wouldn't even turn on. What could be wrong with it?

You have possibly blown the fuse gear. Need a bit more info on the noise. If you turn it on slow and help the planetary does it try go get itself going?

A200, 1st gear had no torque(I could stop by hand). Found & replaced key on low speed gear. It sheared it again. It is just shearing it on the flat gear part, not the bevel gear part. I'm thinking it...

I have had my Kitchen Aid since 2003 and never had this problem. If this has happened to you more than once, I would call Kitchen Aid and explain the issue to them. My sister had an Issue with her new Kitchen Aid and they had her bring it for service and they replaced it with a NEW mixer. Kitchen Aid is very good with brand accountability.

Which is the better mixer of these old models: K5A K5-A or K45 SS and what is the difference? KITCHENAID HOBART K5A K5-A 300 WATT MIXER and the KitchenAid Hobart Vintage K45 250 WATT. Thank you

Hello ajlina,

All of these are great home use units, all the attachments are interchangeable between these. The difference between these mixers is the K5 is a 5 quart mixer and the K45 is a 4.5 quart mixer. As I own both of them they are great in the kitchen and have the same durability.

Have any more questions please post to this thread and I will be happy to assist. Thank you for using FixYa.

Kitchen aid growls at slow speed

Hello again, BCPSBT. I’m sorry, but I’m just a little confused because neither the Part List nor the Owner’s Manuals go into any detail about changing/replacing the lubrication grease in your mixer, so I’m not sure what you are referring to when you say your system ‘times out’ when you get to page 10 when you attempt to download it?
The Parts List manual is only 8 pages. Are you perhaps attempting to download the Owner Instruction and Recipe manual instead, which is much longer?
The reason you need the Parts List Manual K45SSWH-0.pdf (2730.37 KB) is to see the ‘exploded views’ which will aid you in the disassembly and reassembly of your mixer. The best instructions for regreasing you mixer are from these two websites:

I’m sorry I don’t have more specific step by step instructions to offer you. Sometimes you have to step out in faith and trust that you can actually accomplish the work yourself.
I wish you good luck in completing your ‘oil’ change.
Good luck and have fun. I hope this provides a little more clarification. Howard, Burke, VA

I am looking for a place to download a manual of a Hobart 4812 meat grinder.

Parts and Owner/Instruction manuals are available at:

http://www.hobartservice.com/

Hobart considers Service manuals to be proprietary info and they are generally available only to "authorized" servicers.

All the best.
