Voice mail

This is a phone system phone. What you are looking for would be a feature of your voice mail that is connected to the phone system. "Handsfree Speakerphone- 3-Line Back Lit display and 24-Line Keys. Compatible with KXTDA200 and KXTDA100 Systems. " Sounds like you either have a KX-TDA200 or KX-TDA100 phone system. Usually voice mail is an optional feature and has a separate part number. You could also have voice mail service through your phone service provider (like Verizon) Do you have any user guides for your voice mail or one for your phone that covers voice mail features? If not, the first step is to find out for sure what you have for a voice mail. If you have a working message waiting light on the phone it would be an in-house voice mail connected to the system.

It depends on what system the 7731 is attached to. If it's a TA system, that you dial either 107 or 115 to get to the Panasonic brand voice mail system, you take a spare button from the left side keys and press PROGRAM the spare button and dial 94+107 or 115 then STORE.
Pick up the handset and drop it back down to end programming. Then label the button VTR. When a call comes in, you press VTR and dial the extension or press the DSS (extension) button. You don't press HOLD or TRANSFER, just the VTR button.
It's all on page 158 of the OM http://www.public.carl.airpost.net/Pana/TA-824/200_TA_OM_07-04%5B1%5D.pdf
If you are not using a TA series system, the instructions may be different.

You received a message on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. To hear the message, dial the voicemail number provided by your service provider (in many cases, this will be your own phone number), and follow the voice instructions for listening to your messages. You need to store the voicemail access # by pressing [MENU], [#] [3],[3],[1] on the handset. To access the voicemail, press [TALK], then softkey [VM]. Depending on your service provider, you may need to clear your voice mailbox to remove the notification.
You are asking about changing you voice mail and phone system settings. Your phone can work on several different Panasonic phone systems and you could have different voice mail systems as well.
The phone KX-T7633 has only a user guide that covers the basic features of the phone itself. You need a programming and installation manual for your phone system AND your voice mail. They are not the same part and have different manuals.
So, your first step is to find out the model number of your phone system and voice mail system.
