This was a common problem with Toshiba back then. The bios password was created by faulty firmware and there is no password to satisfy it. The second issue is that laptops do not have a bios reset jumper anymore . to clear this password you will need to build a Toshiba loopback on a db25 and short circuit the jopen1 line to the bios chip. Here's a guide. http://superuser.com/questions/243413/bypass-bios-password-set-by-faulty-toshiba-firmware-on-satellite-a55-s1065-lapto

Remove Bios Password satellite A305-s6872

If you cannot find the reset pins try to find the CMOS 3V battery, it is usually located under the keyboard, and disconnect it. remove the computer battery and then start the computer. When you boot it should ask you for the time and date. At this point shut down and plug the CMOS battery back in and reinstall the computer battery. This time when it ask for the time and date go ahead and enter it and the rest of the bios should be set to default.

Toshiba P105 S6104

A lot of the computers come with the factory default password "admin". You might try this.
If this is a bios level password, you may have to reset the bios on the motherboard. I would recommend you contact customer support.
If this is a Windows password you can get fixes on the Microsoft website.
Hope this helps.

Help!

hi, If you set the hard drive password yourself and forgot it, you out of luck. I don?t know if you would be able to recover it. After a quick search on Google I found a utility called A-FF Repair Station. They support a lot of drives and license for 1 recovery will cost you about $50. I have never tried this software myself. If you didn?t set the hard drive password and the laptop still asking for it on start up, then I have a suggestion. Check the version of BIOS installed on your laptop. Three wil be some fix in the latest version like: ?Prevented the message asking for HDD password when there is a problem with the HDD?. In other words, if there is a problem with your hard drive, the laptop might ask you about the hard drive password even if you didn?t set it up. Go to Toshiba tech support website, update the BIOS on your laptop and see if you can bypass the HDD password message. According to the BIOS fix in v.1.50, the HDD password message might indicate that you have a bad hard drive. If after the BIOS update you can bypass the hard drive password message and access the data, I would recommend back it up as soon as possible. regards sreejith

Removal of bios level password

Some laptops are passworded default at'oooo' or 'ooooo'. The bios re-set is the 'JBAT1' terminal, from jumpers 1-2 to 2-3 for a few seconds and then back to 1-2 again, but where the terminal is exactly on your motherboard i do not know. You may also try removing the bios didc shaped battery for 15 minutes or so, then replacing.
