You will have to go into your settings and there will ether be 3 ways not exactly sure which one so try the first one then if you don't see what I say then go on to number 2 then 3
1 go into settings , look for notifications , press it , scroll down to Facebook and press it , and then there should be a switch that says notifications then slide that then you should be getting your notifications.
2 go into settings find Facebook then press it then on the side should have a switch saying notifications turn it on.
3 go into settings and press application then look for Facebook then there should be a switch that should say notifications switch it on then you should be getting notifications soon.

See all application have there fault, Notification is one of these, Just go to market and download new application, It will install over the old one without being uninstalling the existing one, this will fix the problem and the new version will run better too.
