The Dometic DM2652 doesn't have temperature controls. My 2008 model freezes alomost everything on the top two shelves of the refridgerator. I use a low volume air circulator. Is there a way to lower the temperature in this model?

I have the same model in my 5th wheel. I found a white plastic piece on the far right side of the metal slats inside the refrigerator. This plastic piece has some kind of a probe attached to it. The white plastic piece slides up/down on the metal slat. There is a sticker next to this thing on the right side of the refrigerator (inside) that shows a range of "colder to coldest". I think if you slide that piece up/down, that is what controls the temp inside the frig.

I would check the thermistor, located at the back of the fridge. At the back there is a black box with lots of wires going to it remove the cover. There you will see fuses and a circuit board.Unplug where it says P2 thats your thermister now with an Ohm meter test not the front but the back of the plug should read about 6 Ohms.. now the other end located on the fins inside your fridge is the little white wire with the probe put the probe in a glass of ice and wait for about 5-10 mins. and test should read about up to 15 Ohms. Or you might have a bad ground on the unit easy tests you can do yourself.

THE REFRIDGERATOR DOESN'T WORK ABOVE SETTING #3 AND GOES TO 10 DEGREES AT SETTING 3 OR BELOW

heck for good clean and tight fitting connection of thermistor to control board. If this is OK, then a diagnosis of the thermistor resistance to temperature is needed. If it is OK you could have a bad (stuck) relay on the control board.

My dm2652 turns on but doesn't cool

Check the thermostat setting and check you have power from it to the heater if it is an absorption fridge or compressor if not.

My dometic fridge will not turn on

Check to see if you have a switch for storage, on, off etc. usually between doors, or near top right corner of fridge compartment. It may be in wrong position.
