Refrigerator side is not working and defrost parts are needed, but the freezer side worked fine. After unplugging and moving, the control panel is flashing 22 E.

Just need control panel to be able to set freezer temp. etc.

Ge Gsh25jsxnss side x side fridge is not getting cold, took plate off & damper works fine, I don't see ne kind of fan, it goes straight 2 the freezer near the ice maker. freezer is cold & working fine

Evaporator fan motor has probably failed. p/n WR60X10185

It is located in the freezer section, behind the back panels inside, and under the icemaker. Remove the screws on the bottom panel in the freezer, remove the ice maker, auger motor, and panel. is is about center of the freezer.

My fridge part of fridge/freezer doesn't work

Post the model number of the refrigerator. Defrost freezer behind where the cold air circulates with a hair drier. (unplug power first!) Most times when a refrigerator side stops cooling it is because the freezer evaporator behind the panel in the back of freezer (most times) has become blocked by frost=> SEE PHOTO Most times the panel before you see the frosted covering the evaporator will begin to show a layer of frost building=> SEE PHOTO (Click each photo to enlarge.) Sometimes the fresh food section of the refrigerator side will warm because ice or frost will block the damper from moving that regulates temperatures in the fresh food section. Sometimes the damper is defective and sometimes the sensor that controls the damper movement is defective. For these reasons it is important that you provide your model numbers so someone knows just what type refrigerator you have to cover all of the possibilities of what may be wrong causing the warming of the fresh food section and soon the freezer section will also begin to warm. The most likely cause are the defrost control, ADC Adaptive Defrost Control, defrost heater, defrost thermostat, air damper and air damper sensors in that order. Let me know what you have and I will try to identify just what may be happening, Thanks Sea Breeze

Fridge not cooling

Look inside the freezer and at the rear panel do you see a layer of frost building up on that panel? I have a feeling that your refrigerator is not defrosting and this will cause the fresh food section to warm or appear to warm first. The=> 2304099 Defrost Control Board

This defrost control board can be found inside the fresh food section and behind the controls. If the defrost control board is defective it will cause the symptons you decribed here. This part controls fans, compressor and defrost so I need you to unplug your refrigerator and examine both sides of the 2304099 Defrost Control Board for signs of heat or burn marks. Sometimes not always this part will show burn marks and still be defective. Let me know what you find so I can answer your questions, Thanks

I have a maytag msd2572vew side by side refrigerator. the freezer side works fine but fridge side does not get cold. the vents in the fridge feel like no air is blowing. anyone know what's wrong?

Hi,
You have a defrost problem and will need to thaw out your freezer to change the one of the bad parts and restore air flow. The other bad part is PCA (this is a control of defrost and compressor run). First bad part is a defrost thermostat link under bad and the other is the PCA which controls the defrost cycle. Unplug unit, de-ice the freezer and this will buy you time to get parts, I don't like the use of blow dryers but people use them in this case. Watch the heat, is can warp the plastic.
Good Luck

Freezer side works the other side after running for 2to3 days i have to unpluge it for a day or 2 to work again

This is usually a symptom of a defrost issue. You are basically defrosting the coils in the freezer when you are unplugging the fridge for two days.
On this model there is a defrost control board inside the refrigerator behind your controls in the top right corner. The part number is 61005988 and usually costs around $85. This is your most likely suspect but you may have a defective defrost terminating thermostat (located in the freezer behind the back wall on top of the cooling coils.) This part should only cost around 30$ if you need it.
Good luck.

DOESNT DEFROST AND THE FRIDGE SIDE NOT COLD

YOU CAN MANUALLY DEFROST THIS AND GET IT GOING UNTIL YOU GET IT REPAIRED. UNPLUG REFRIGERATOR AND LEAVE FREEZER DOOR OPEN FOR 12 HOURS OR MORE. OR UNPLUG REFRIGERATOR, TAKE THE LOWER PANEL OFF INSIDE FREEZER AND DEFROST WITH A HAIR DRYER. THIS SHOULD TAKE ABOUT 45 MINUTES. THE MOST COMMON REPAIR IS THE DEFROST THERMOSTAT. YOU PROBABLY HAVE A BAD ADAPTIVE DEFROST BOARD.

Food defrosted in freezer--turned to coldest setting--there is some cold air coming in but seems only small amount-refrigerator is only "cool"-fan seems to be working

I believe part number W10135899 Defrost Control Board is defective. The board is located inside the fresh food section and behind the control panel. Near the temperature controls. Look at the rear wall of the freezer. If a layer of ice is forming on the rear wall of your freezer then it also is forming behind the rear panel of the freezer and restricting air flow. The Defrost Control Board is the most likely reason then there are 2 more things to have a look at. That is the defrost heater and the defrost thermostat. Would not be a bad time to manually defrost your freezer so you can bring temperatures down and replace the part. Unplug refrigerator, remove the rear panel inside back of freezer and defrost the evaporator coils with a hair dryer Or you can leave a bucket of hat water setting inside the freezer compartment with door shut for a while. Let me know what you find, again most like problem is the Defrost Control Board, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Frezer side working but fridge side not working and all my food gone off

Your refrigerator has possibly stoped defrosting and this is the symptoms and first signs. The defrost control board is located inside the temperature control panel and usually is the part that causes the defrost to stop. You need to unplug and inspect or defrost your freezer. Have a look at the defrost elements to make sure they are not burned out, The part number for the defrost control is W10135899 Let me know if you have questions or need more assistance . at [email protected] Thanks, Sea Breeze

Roper RT18SKXRD01 top/bottom refrigerator. Freezer fine but refrig isn't cool (50-degrees). took off back panel in freezer and fan blades not going around (they move freely when I spin them manually)....

The most likely problem is in the Adaptive Defrost control part number 4388931 I recommend that you unplug the refrigerator and examine this part first. If not here then we need to check the defrost heater and defrost thermostat. Thanks, Sea Breeze

Jenn Air JCD2389GTW Refrigerator problem

The auto defrost timer was broken, so my refrigerator repairman replaced it. The part is about $60. The bigger expense was the labor getting to the timer, which is in the upper right hand corner of the refrigerator within the plastic casing that houses the temperature control levers. He then had to remove the panels of the freezer and defrost the coils with a blow heater. It took several hours.
