How do I refill the thread bobbin on a Kenmore sewing maching,,model 148-19371

Readjust the needle timing and check the thread tensions top and bottom.

try these suggestions
Bobbin thread breaks
1. There is a right way & wrong way to insert the bobbin in the case --when you insert the bobbin in if it doesn't stitch correctly turn the bobbin over see if that helps or bobbin case is not inserted correctly
2. Lint has collected in the bobbin holder
3. The bobbin is damaged & doesn't turn smoothly
4. Lower thread tension is two tight

I had that problem and found it was the cheap thread I was using. I changed to a better quality and bingo the problem was gone.

Usually, it is the top thread causing the problem. Rethread entire machine. Then, pull both threads (upper and lower) with the presser foot up and leave a 6" tail. Make sure that you do not miss any guides, check your manual to make sure that you haven't missed a guide in your threading, and the direction of your thread on both bobbin and upper going the right way Youtube has excellent videos on threading for free..

Mary, just re-thread the upper and make sure the threaded is seated between the tension disc

sounds like it needs a service call. if you do not have a sewing repair man you use regularly to clean machine the local fabric store should know who you could call.

I bought mine at Walmrt. They are a Singer product and says it will fit most machines. There are 2 belts in the package and the small one is for bobbin winders. I have a Kenmore 158,904 and it fits perfect.

i have a kenmore10 model 1249180 ehwn i sew it squeeks i oil it i dont know where the squeek is coming from
