Fridg. will only get cold at highest setting why

in a fridge the highest or coldest setting is 1 or 0
the bigger the number the warmer the setting
door seal /door not closing properly
have a technician check out the thermostat for correct operation

Check condenser make sure it is clean then listen to see if condenser fan motor is running . if compressor is running cuntinuesly and other mentioned are ok it could be low on Freon

What make and model is your appliance. Sounds like you have a fan problem

hi how are you...please turn down setting to original setting from factory...in the freezer,does the back panel have ice on it....if so you have defrost problm...if not remove panel...if one one place on coil has ice ,but not whole coil...then has a freon problm....allow 24 hours for settings to readjust....hope this helps...good luck...michael doctor airr appl.repair..843-384-8474...call if need assistance...good luck...

The fan in the freezer is not blowing the cold air into the fridge through the damper or more likely the damper isn't open. It's controlled by the fridge temp control knob. If it's an electronic control then it's probably bad. If it's just a mechanical knob then the linkage connecting it to the damper may be disconnected.

isnt that the highest you could put it. how about taking it down to 1 or 2. it should say on the nob.

i'm guessing your fridge is over - packed with alot of food - i found if i made more space - temperature returned to normal cooling.

1 is the lowest setting. And if you want to make it really cold in your LG then turn it to the highest number. Might back off the fridge setting to 2. Do you have two t-stat's one for freezer and one for fresh food compartment?

turn the freezer up to highest setting and set the refrigerator control to about half way. this will block some of the airflow into the refrigerator.
