Guessing, but it sounds like your hard drive has been damaged. You may need a new drive, or at least repairs. If you have a "rescue disk", give that a try.

Kurio 4s need help

You can perform a reboot by holding the volume + button and power button at the same time. Release the power button after 5 seconds but keep holding the volume + button until a screen appears with options. Press the power button to select reboot. Next you will have to scroll down using the Volume + button again to highlight yes and press the power button to select. If the reboot does not work, you many have to perform a factory reset using the same steps except you have to use the volume + button to scroll down to the factory reset option. Hope this helps.

When i turn on my computer ,it displays a block screen and said that Press DEL to run Setup and Press TAB to view BIOS message, and when i Press it, it displays that "a disk read an error occurred...

There are only few reason why this happens.

1) You Hard drive is not getting detected properly, you need to open the Chassis/ Cabinet and make sure the cables are properly connected to the Hard Drive. Restart the computer and see if it comes again.

2) Your Hard Drive has gone bad. Needs a replacement.

3) The operating system on the computer has gone corrupt. (Chances for this reason are less)

Note: When you are checking the cables make sure the computer is powered off.

Shrey

After a storm the other night my Proview PL866s amber light is blinking - however when I press the amber button (which usually turns green and then it works) nothing is happening except blank screen and...

If this happened after a storm, the monitor may have been subjected to a power surge, which unfortunately might have killed it.

If you have another monitor (or a friend who has one) try plugging that other monitor into your computer. If the second monitor works, yours will need to be replaced as the input was probably destroyed by the power surge.

If the second monitor also doesn't work, there may be a problem with your computer, most likely with the power supply (this is the part most often damaged by a power surge). You may want to have it examined by a professional computer repair person at that point.

Hope this is helpful!

Boot device not detect

Your PC is trying to boot from your external hard/flash drive.

You have to change the boot order in the bios. While booting what the screen, you'll see a message "Select F2 for boot or DEL/F10 for setup"

Go for the setup option, this will take you into the bios. Read the instructions carefully, you need to change to boot order, choose CD for 1, HDD0 for 2 anything you like for third. Press F10 to save and exit. Your
PC should now boot properly.

Or, as its just a flash drive, don't plug it in until your PC has booted.

When I unplug power supply I get blue screen and it reboots. This is with a new fully charged battery in.

Hi,

Thats a surge thats happening. The comutper will restart for data prevention purposes.

What i suggest you do is vist the HP Support website and select Drivers and Downloads. Input your model number and download the latest BIOS update. install the BIOS update and this should resolve the blue screen issue.

IMaytag neptune washer stops at every cycle

Unplug the washer for 10 min to reboot the curcuit board. This will clear the little brain of any unwanted commands. Selecting too many cycles in a short period of time in frustration can overwelm the little brain. This can also happen with power surges from the electrical company. Undervoltage or overvoltage can cause similar problems. Rebooting clears the memory in the board and starts from scratch.
