I am using windows 7, but any other operating system should be either the same or very similar. Start by going into control panel. Then region and language. A windows should pop up. Click on the Keyboard and language tab, and click on the change keyboard button. There should be a box with all of the installed keyboard languages. If US is installed, then click on the rest, and remove them. If not, click on add, install US, and then once you do that, delete the rest of them. Click ok, and you should be all set. Really hopes this helps. Good luck.
