How do I change the voicemail to my IP1NA-12TXH phone? its been the same greeting for 7 years and nobody has figured a way to change it

On the IP1NA-12TXH, pressed the call1 button and now the screen says switchboard. how do i go back to the regular name display?

If your phones says "switchboard" that is the name assigned to it. in idle condition you should have a name and an extension number as well as the time and day showing on your Aspire phone.

Voicemail change message

How To Change Your Personal Greeting:
1. Press the Check Voicemail key or press the Feature button, then 981
2. Enter your password
3. Press the ADMIN softkey
4. Press the GREET softkey
5. Press the REC softkey
6. Press the PRIME softkey
7. Press the YES softkey
8. At the tone, record your new greeting, press the OK softkey to end your recording and then the OK softkey again to accept the new recording
How To Record Your Alternate Greeting (Used when on vacation or out of the office.:1. Press the Check Voicemail key or press the Feature button, then 981
2. Enter your password
3. Press the ADMIN softkey
4. Press the GREET softkey
5. Pres the REC softkey
6. Press the ALT softkey
7. Press the YES softkey
8. At the tone, record your new greeting, press the OK softkey to end your recording, then the OK softkey again to accept the new recording.
9. You then need to have your voicemail box now play the Alternate Greeting, Press the GREET softkey
10. Press the Choose softkey
11. Press ALT softkey
12. Display will show: "Accept msgs: Y", Press the OK softkey to have your voicemail box accept messages while your Alternate Greeting is turned on, or press the CHNG softkey to change the "Y" to an "N" if you do not want your voicemail box to accept messages.
13. When you return to the office, make sure you go back into your voicemail box and have it play the PRIME greeting.

Trying to listen to voicemail grettings.

If your talking about listening to the individual mailbox greetings without calling into the system then you could use feature 980 (leave message)
enter in the mailbox number you want to check and press ok.

Changing main voicemail message

This may be specific for my system, but hopefully it helps:

Connect to your voicemail (for us, we can either hit the voicemail button or dial 1650)

Once in, press #6, it will ask for a mailbox number, dial *9998, it will ask for a password (the default is 1234#)

Press 5 to modify messages.

Press 3 to record custom service menus.

It will ask you to pick which menu (1-100). Our day menu is 1, and night is 2. I'm guessing yours will be the same.

From this point, it becomes the same as recording a standard voicemail greeting. It will play the current greeting and you can press 1 to re-record it. Do so, and then press #. Press 2 to accept and you're done!

Once you figure out what voicemail this is, you will need to go into Voicemail Admin Programming to re-initialize the password for an extension.

Resetting company voicemail

Norstar Common Voicemail Features To Check Your Voicemail:
1. Press the Check Voicemail key or press the Feature button, then 981
2. Enter your password
3. From here you can listen to messages, change your greeting, change your password, etc.

To Leave a Message for Someone in Your Office:
1. Press the Leave Message key or Feature 980
2. Enter the mailbox number (extension number. of the person you want to leave a message for

To Transfer Someone to a Voicemail Box:
1. Press the Transfer to Voicemail key or press the Feature button, then 986
2. Enter the mailbox # (extension#.
3. The display will show: Call Transferred
