Re-calibrate the unit or get a more accurate unit
20 yards for a cheap gps unit is about average
remember that you actual yardage is measured by the revolutions and circumference of the tyres so the difference could be coming from that area rather than from the gps unit

If I have problems with Golf Buddy accuracy, does that means its cheap and no good?

Change meters to yards Bushnell Tour v3 slope

UNIT OF MEASURE OPTIONS The YARDAGE PRO TOUR can be used to measure distances in yards or meters. The unit of measure indicators are located in the upper right portion of the LCD. To select between yards and meters, look through the monocular, depress the "mode" button (left side of the unit underneath the BUSHNELL YARDAGE PRO logo) and hold it down for approximately 2 seconds. If you are changing from yards to meters, a change in unit of measure will be indicated by the illumination of the letter M for METER indicator while the YD for YARD indicator is turned off. If you are changing from meters to yards, the opposite will occur. Note: The YARDAGE PRO TOUR will return to the last setting used, each time the unit is turned on.

How many yards to cover 30ft/40ft 4 inches deep in concrete

That may be ok for the US, but in Europe you would need cubic metres.
I yd = 0.914 m, 1 cubic yd = 0.914 x .914 x .1914 = 0.764
So 14.66 cu. yds is 14.66 x 0.764 = 11.2 cubic metres - with a bit of luck!

Bushnell Yardage Pro Scout

If it's like the one in the picture they don't have parts anymore. If it's the small unit call 800.423.3537 and ask for Michael. He can and will fix it. Alignment is 30 bucks, Lcd is 15 bucks and all other maintenance and adjustments are 15 bucks. Now this is half the price of a new unit, just to repair this one......Think about it.

Incorrect distance

Bushnell doesn't work on those anymore, but they still have the manual for them. Make sure when you hit a target you don't see a "M" next to it. This means it's reading in meters instead of yards. Hold down the "mode button" until you see "Y" (yards) if this is the case. If not, the unit will need an alignment and bushnell doesn't do them anymore. They will offer you a newer model. The Pinseeker technology is good......They have three models to choose from.

Good Luck!!!!

My bushnell yardage pro will only read out to approx. 20 yards and no further. has new and the correct batteries any ideas.

This model should be about 8-9years old. The laser is getting very weak or the unit is out of alignment. Bushnell won't have parts for this anymore. I suggest buying a new one. They will offer a model that shoots at least 800 yards. If you play golf models 20-1930, 20-1354, and 20-5105 are very good. If you use it for hunting I suggest model# 20-1931, 20-1932. These model can be seen at bushnell.com good luck!!

Tour v 2 , it doesnt show the actual yardage and I didn't try i

Make sure the battery is good. (Go to a radioshack and have them measure the voltage). It should be 3.1 to 3.2 volts. The reflectivity of objects being measured is a factor. Lighter colors reflect better than darker colors. Larger objects reflect better than small ones. License plates, highway signs are very reflective. You should be able to hit one of those from more than 700 yards away. Make sure the Pinseeker mode is on and try.....(touch the mode button and the flag comes up on the screen) Don't hold the mode button down for more than 5 sec or you will switch the unit to meters instead of yards.
