How do I close the door to my printer? It seems that one of the hinges is broken apart.

I opened the door to my printer to clean the glass and now the door will not close. One of the hinges in the back seems to be apart. I don't know if I broke it or just pulled it apart. I can't seem to get it back together.

If it's broken, you can't get it back together and your prrinter won't work with "door" opem look for the sensor which indicates that door is open, stick it somehow so it should show door closed and used happily forever your printer. If this trick is not possible, no way, take your printer to an HP repair center and get installed a new door.

How do open a locked hinge on my built in Bosch oven

First of all, oven doors are not designed to be disassembled for cleaning of the sealed glass panel. That being said, you may be able to use a coat hanger to pry the hinges open against heavy spring pressure to allow reassembly.

Ge profile self-Cleaning oven: how do I clean between the glass door. Where do I take t apart?

Hello Patricia
Oven doors by their design are very difficult, almost impossible to open then re-assemble. Not advised.
However, for the brave-hearted, oven doors can be open, eg to change a broken spring etc.
This involves dressing in protective gear as glass fiber wool insulation inside stove and door casing is very hazardous.
Strip half the stove to get to the hinge/arm mountings, unbolt so that door & hinge-arms come free, lay face-down on newspaper.
Using brute strength, unscrew Philips screws which have stuck solid from years of baked fat and heat.
Lift carerfully and try to avoid itchy glass fibres.
Glass inspection hatch insert may have stuck to silicone seal so press until it falls free.
Clean glass & re-assemble all in reverse order.
Trying to get the hinge-arms to line up while holding the heavy door is the most difficult part.
Can lead to stress, premature ageing....
Hope this helps :)
Clive.

I have a gmc275pd, and need to remove door to replace the inner glass. can't figure out how to remove the door, there doesnt seem to be a locking latch that others describe on the internet.

Open the door look at the hinge where it goes into the receiver you should see a small hole place a small short screw in the hole each side now close the door slowly hold the door while closing you should feel the hinges release out of the receivers, to take the door apart you are going to have to remove these screws to do this take the box end of a wrench pull the hinge back to take pressure off screw remove screw

Glass inside oven door is dirty. Is it possible to disassemble the door to clean the glass?

You can remove the oven door and dis-assemble it to clean it but you are looking at quite a task to do so.. Most of the kitchen aid brand requires two pins to be inserted into the door hinges while the door is in the open position to allow the door to be open. When you have inserted the pins into the hinge start to close the door and the pressure of the hinge spring will be applied to the pins allowing you to now lift on the door removing it from it's slots in the face of the oven. The hinge will slide out of the oven face.

Once you have the door removed you can begin the task of taking the door apart. Lay the door inside part down on a table or counter, remove the screws from the bottom of the door trim (piece that holds lower part of glass) and remove the trim. Now you should be able to slide the outer glass downwards (some models required side trims to be removed also). Now you can remove the handle assembly and then begin to remove the inner door liner and inner glass package.
Be careful and pay attention to screw size/location.
Take pictures at each step to aid in re-assembly!
Good luck!!

I had to take the door apart to clean the glass and the insulation cord fell down does it go between the door and the glass or outside the glass frame

Disassemble and reassemble FLAT to avoid gravity moving the cord.

Hint: Open door fully and put a couple nails through holes provided in the hinges to keep hinges open so you can install the door without fighting the hinge springs.

GLASS BROKEN ON MY FRIGIDAIRE PRO

Inner or outer? you will have to take the door off, done by lowering door to full open postion and youll see a fold down flap at hinge, fold down and close door and lift. this will allow you to access screws easier. remove handle and four bottom screws. that will allow you to take off outer glass....there will be screws on inside to take out inner glass.

Replace inner oven door glass on kitchenaid wall oven

To replace the door glass do the following:

0 Check if there is a hinge stop bracket located at the hinge point of entry on the oven, in that case remove it.
1 remove the oven door by pulling it up and removing from the the hinges. If glass is broken , then secure glass with tape. Have a table with a cloth on top ready to lay the door.
2 Remove the outer screws , starting from lower side of the panel.
3Removethe inner screws. Keep all set of screws ordered, and take note of theorder you remove them. You will follow reverse order in reassembly.
4 the frame will be free now,
5 Remove the external glass panel and leave it in a safe place.
6 Replace the inner glass.
7 Clean outer glass and metal door, re-assemble it and mount it back

I also report testimonials for your model:

"
removed the door from the oven by releasing clips attached to the door hinge -- very nicely engineered. Removed about 6 philips head screws to allow the door assembly to be taken apart for access to the glass. Lifted out the broken glass, cleaned the inside of the door, installed the new glass, reassembled the door (a two minute project), and reattached the door to the oven. Cleaning the inside of the door"

"
I removed the oven door by lifting it off with the hinges. Disassembled the door parts one at time making sure I remember where I removed the screws until I am able to get to the broken glass. The most difficult part is making sure that the insulation strip & the gasket stayed in place after I replaced the broken glass & doing the reverse process of installing the parts together. Relatively easy process as long as you remember where the parts go. When in doubt, I had to refer to the pictorial of the disassembled door shown on your website. "

How can I remove oven door so that I can replace the broken glass

I just took my oven door off and took it apart to clean the glass inside. I don't have a maytag but they probably all work alike. Just open the door like you are going to broil something and just lift it up. It should slide right off. Shouldn't have to unscrew anything. Hope this helps. Arlene
