How can I put drawer back? Something is impeding

If the display is showing Malfunction while this is happening, it might be having trouble emptying out the grounds into the tray, Mine does this periodically, but it seems to be more related to the beans as I have spells when this happens (I always use the same brand of beans, so I think sometimes the beans have more oil than other times causing the sticking grounds. Remove the tray and lift out the container for the grounds. Reinsert the flat tray and the machine should once again try to clear itself. If it is showing Malfunction 9, I unplug the machine for a few minutes. With the grounds cup still removed, I plug the machine in and turn on again. Most times the malfunction clears and the grounds end up in the liquid catcher tray. I then remove the tray and put the container for the grounds back in and continue normal use.

Your brew unit may be set in the wrong position inside the machine if someone has had it out to clean or try to fix. The unit has two positions open and neutral when putting back into the machine it should be neutral. This is something I would try first. Now if it is in the open position you will need to reset it. Resetting is better explained on video so I have put a link for a Youtube video. This guy is great and guides you through step by step. Hope this works for you good luck. Please post and let me know.

Dumping dry grounds and not making coffee
Dosage lever or knob is to the max positive and the brew unit can not compress the coffee, so the machine dumps it into the dredge drawer to prevent breaking the machine. Reduce the amount by 1 click back from the full positive, and that should take care of the problem. Another thing that can cause this is the grind is too coarse or the grinder has come apart. The grinds should look like coarse sugar.
PS. It will usually work if the brew unit is clean, but when it is used once it will go back to dumping dry grounds.

Gaggia Digital Syncrony dredge drawer error won't
Hi
Do you still have the tab on the left side of the dredge drawer? If you do, you can loosen the 2 screw just above the slot wherer you put the credit card. Push down on the plastic ramp in the slot as far as you can, then holding the ramp down tighten the 2 screws. If you don't have the tab you will need a new dredge drawer. Also on some machines the drip tray will lift the dredge drawer and it will give this message. There is a extra piece of plastic in the 90 deg. notch that can be trimed out to stop it from lifting the dredge drawer.

C5 machine stuck and can't put drawer back in. i may have opened the draw during the shut off process
If the drawer is stuck and cannot be put back in then put everything back except for the coffee grind bucket. That works for me. Press the power button to switch it off and then back on again and you can removed the drawer and put the bucket part back in again.

Grinding and dumping coffee without making a cup. keeps asking to refill beans when full. Have cleaned it. dumping ground dry coffee into dreg drawer and not making coffee.
Check the grind it might be too fine, then check the screen under the red o-ring in the brew unit it might be blocked.

Machine won't work due to dreg drawer
Check to see if your machine has an "exit chute" or similar area where from the used pucks are ejected. The area might be clogged with used coffee grinds and causing a false reading from the machine.

My Saeco magic grinds the beans, but no coffee comes out. Sometimes it makes one cup, and skips. Other times, I grind the equivalent of 8 cups of coffee without any cups of coffee coming out.

When a machine grinds but doesn't make any coffee there are a couple of things.
If the grounds are wet in the dredge drawer, then you have a plugged brew head and need to clean it.
If the grounds are dumped dry into the dredge drawer, then you have an overcharge and need to adjust the dosing lever back from the full charge. On your machine it is inside the door at the top center. Pull the lever back towards the front 1 click. Then try again.

Missing drawer light on because drawer shifted before coffee came out. Now something inside is preventing pushing the drawer in
Take out the used grounds container, and put the drawer back in the machine. After the machine has finished positioning, then you can put the container back in the machine.

Check the area behind the draw there might be some ground coffee preventing the tray from sitting correctly.

Saeco talea touch - grinds & brews coffee into grounds drawer??
Try this, adjust the grind to a coarser setting atleast 2 numbers, then remove brew unit and look behind at white plastic valve, there is a small chamber under valve make sure chamber is clean and that the small discharge from chamber to drain tray is also clear. Then remove shower screen from brew unit and clean if necessary, also check the tube from the shower. Reinsert and test.
