My finepix z fujifilm camera has burst the ink in the screen so i can't see what picture I am taking - photos are coming out great on computer but now i have accidentally changed the setting to black and white and as i can't see the screen don't know how to change it back to colour - how many times do ihave to press menu - up - down - left - right etc

Have you tried focusing before you take a photo? To do this, press down the shutter button on your camera but don't push it far enough to take a photo. This enables the camera to focus on what it's about to photograph before you press the shutter button again and take the photo.

I have a Fuji FinePix A330 camera and when I try Problem with the Fuji FinePix A330 Digital Camera I have a Fuji FinePix A330 camera and when I try to take a picture in the light, daylight or lamp light, lines appear through the picture. Sometimes fine lines but other times like a burst of light. This just started happening recently. But when I take a picture in the dark with the flash the photo turns out fine. Some camera only use viewfinder to shoot photo,The LCD is for setup and display photo only.Because it's off it will save a lot of battery power so that you can shoot more photos.Check it out in the manual.Have FUN!

Check to see if the Fuji website has any downloads or updates for your camera.

CCD failed, contact fuji, they got product recall for some camera models with faulty CCD.

If your camera got the symptoms please package the camera carefully using ample padded material to prevent damage in transit. Include your name, address and phone number with the shipment as well as a general description of the problem. Keep a record of the camera's serial number and shipment tracking number. Ship your camera to the Fuji Service Center.

This camera does not have the facility to take "black & white" photos. However it is easy to convert the colour pictures to black & white using software once they are on your PC. I have Fuji FinePix 2650 Digital camera with same problem. I can almost guarantee this is not a firmware problem. I went mountain biking a few months ago and take pictures. I take out camera and turn on. I get lines then white screen. I banged on camera and fixed it. Later a few weeks ago I turn it on and white screen. i beat this thing and get bad menu selection screen for a moment then white again. It takes pictures well and talk to computer no problem but no LCD picture. I thinking it is loose connection for LCD. Send it for repair or if you seek adventure try to fix it yourself!
