when u change alternator u should change battery to.

Almost certainly wheel bearings. They really roar if they become pitted.

a lot of older cars do that. if you notice them coming towards you at night. It is usually a bad alt. or loose wires on the head lights or the plug ends are corroded inside the plug. Thee are many things you can imagine. Did it start doing this all of a sudden? or has this been a problen for a while now. Is that the reason you switched out the alts? I'd tend to go with the corroded wire pluds for the head lights. does it go along with the bouncing of the car or are they pulsating with a rythm. Does it do it while parked and running? It could be the voltage regulator, check it too. Good Luck

The red light flickering could be a diode fault within the alternator. Pulsating could also be a fault with the alternator or a faulty ground/earthing point for either the battery or the harness. If your drivebelt tension is fine, its more than likely the alternator. Hope this helps...

Headlights pulsate as well?
This generally means that the brushes in the alternator are worn out.
If you are handy with a soldering iron, and willing to hunt till you find brushes that fit, you can replace just the brushes for less than $5.
Or you can buy a new voltage regulator. It comes with the new brushes in it. It attaches to the back of your alternator with two screws. It costs $30 to $80 on line depending on which alternator you have.

Hi, this is usually caused by a worn out CV joint on one or both axles. Check to see if the boots are torn open. There are 2 boots on each axle. If they are torn, the joint is likely to be worn out or will soon wear out. Replace any axle with a torn boot. Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Unfortunatly you have aproblem with either the dash control module or the dash itself which will need to be replaced.

check to make sure the front brake rotors are true,if these are out of round this will vause the pedal to pulsate, try this first,ABS system is usually very reliable. get back to me if you need more help. please rate my fix. this is a very common problem, especially if the rear brakes are out of adjustment. it causes the front brakes to work harder causing the front rotors to overheat and warp the rotors. your car is in denial.... Have your battery load testest. If it has any plate issues it can mislead the alternator regarding its state of charge abd, by all means make sure your battery cables are clean and tight. good luck

Remove the alternator and have it checked. If it checks out ok, replace the voltage regulator.
