Good morning, pls what's differents Between high mileage oil mobil 1 10w-40 and Mobil 1 life 0w-40,i want to service my Honda CRV 2001 Engine Mileage on it is 143010,pls adivce

There is very little difference. The 0W-40 is simply a little 'lighter' and it only affects the engine on starting. Not sure where you live but either would be fine in a car that has on done 143000 (KM?)

Oil pump/engine ticking

I would go with the previous owners seldom changed
the oil & you bought a car with issues your not going to fix

( You checked the oil & it was thick, that told you what I
just said)

But you knew or expected as much, right !!

No vehicle uses 10W-30 oil in the last 25 years

Go with 0W or 5W-20 or 5W-30 & a half quart
of Marvel Mystery Oil

Mobil 1 Full/Syn

After that-- not much you can do except pull it
apart

Condensation in filler neck tube on 04 tahoe.... Ok so i had my tahoe for a while and it has 130k miles on it. I was checking the fluids because i losses water so i filled it and i was checking the oil and...

Normal for the most part

Condensation when cold &
the yellow is most likely dyes
in the oil additive package

Make sure the PCV System works &
no vacuum leaks

I did not say change the valve, never
needs to be changed, clean every 3 years,
if you like

If you were to remove the valve covers, you
really wouldn't like what you see.

Only what I have done for 20 years -- I use Mobil 1
full syn & never go over 4,000 miles & things stay
clean

I have had 2 oil pans off,not of my choice & they
were clean.

I used Valvoline Semi Syn back before that & no issues

I like a half quart of Marvel Mystery Oil in there
My not be of any value, but haven't had any issues
with OBD2 Systems with 5W-20 Mobil 1 & Marvel
or 0W-30 Mobil 1 on the really old vehicles

I just bought a used ktm 65 sx and the previous owner said he always used mobil 1 0w-30 in engine. is this the same mobil 1 oil 0w-30 i see on local auto part stores?

Hi, Yes, indeedy. If it worked for the last owner then please continue. As you bike ages you can go to a synthetic oil. Its more expensive but worth it. Congrats on the new bike and be careful too.

What oil can I use in my Car?

That depends on the vehicle. If you have the original oil cap, the label will specify it.
But...if that is not the case, the 0W-30 (rated zero weight) fully synthetic Mobil 1 oil is appropriate for most domestic cars.

Gmc envoy 2002 recomennded oil type?

The overwhelming response on GM Envoy forums is Mobil 1 Synthetic motor oil.

The recommend includes using Mobil 1 0W-40 all year. It will give you outstanding protection at low ambient temperatures as well as at high operating temperatures.

Envoy enthusiasts also recommend K&N or Mobil 1 Extended Performan oil filters.
