When the device is turned on there is a yellow circle in the top right hand corner. Is there any way to remove it?

Faults & possible causes to LCD screen are given with illustrations. You can get an idea about the fault to an extent.

On the menu there should be an icon that looks like a yellow lightning bolt with a red circle around it and a red line thru it (this means that the flash is off)....in the lower right hand corner you should see a white lightning bolt. Tap the red circle 2 times and you should notice that the yellow lightning bolt now stands alone and the red circle and the red line has been removed (now your flash is on). Note: Each time you turn on the camera and you need flash, you will have to make this adjustment...I hadn't figured out a way so that it happens automatically..

Make sure that the kindle is fully charged. Plug your kindle into the wall charger, a yellow light will light up. When the yellow light turns green, your kindle is fully charged. Then try turning on your device. If the device still does not turn on, hold the power switch for 15 seconds, this will reboot the device.

Have you tried resetting the device (you need paperclip to do this on the bottom of the device)?

Have you tried removing the SD card and re-inserting it?

If you go to the menu, click "Change Preferences", then scroll to "Configure GPS" and click it, you should see the GPS Status screen.

It should look something like the photo below, showing satellite signal strength at the bottom of half of the screen.

You should also see in the top right corner next to the time a black and yellow circle that rotates 80 degrees every second. It rotates every time a message is received from the GPS chip.

if the circle is always showing up on the top right corner of the screen and doesnt load any games that means that you laser pick up is already busted.bring it to the nearest sony workshop for a replacement.

No worries. Instead of going to the default "Music" menu, you must have shut off your player when you were in the "Now Playing" menu. Just press the "menu" button to go to the main menu, and go from there.

First thing ensure that the TomTom is fullly charged using the home charger.
Press the small reset button on the base (700) or do a factory reset.
The other thing to try is tap the GPS signal bars to go to the configure and check in the top right hand corner there is a circle with yellow and black esgments if this is moving then your TomTom is looking for a signal. Move around and you should find that the bars at the bottom will start to move and the small screen on the right will start to indicate circles. When the bars start to move you are getting GPS signals when the bars change to blue there you have a coordination for your position. Some areas are worse than others so move out of your house if after doing above does not get a signal
