If Shr (5hr) appears on the display then the cooktop is in showroom mode. To exit showroom mode the cooktop must be locked by pressing and holding the key symbol for 5 seconds. After the cooktop is locked, press and hold the melt touch pad for 5 seconds.

Goes off completely after just few seconds sometimes 30 sec. sometimes minute..Repair man looked at it-thinks either something electrical or some sensor messed up.He took apart look at electric ribbon nothing looked over puts back together..turns on and it goes completely blank again..no error codes..any suggestions
