Hello. Probably the hinges are worn/bent. And, the door could be bent from leaning on it, resting clothes on it(if it opens/closes vertically). Also, if it is bent enough, the strike/catch might be mis-aligned and not holding properly.

Refrigerator door sags and binds opposite hinge side. Can lower hinge be moved to raise sagging side?

Most likely cause is a worn cam in the hinge. After a while plastic cam wear out a causes doors to sag. Take your model number to Searspartsdirect.com and find the hinge cams and replace. Our went out a few years ago and our door did not shut. We came back 4 days later to a real smelly mess all over our kitchen thanks to these plastic cams. To prolong useful lifetime, try coating the cams with protroleum jelly. Doors should shut when you release the door when open 1 inch by themself. If they do not, the refrigerator feet need to adjusted so front is a little higher than back.

My dryer door is loose and won't shut right.

You take a Phillips screwdriver to the hinges that hold it to the body of the dryer and turn the screwdriver clockwise until you can't turn it anymore. Holding the door up in the level position it should be in while doing will allow it to tighten properly.

Frigidaire affinity door sag

Good Afternoon Mr. T,

I understand that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire Affinity dryer and the door sagging, making it difficult to close and latch the door. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for assistance with this. They should be able to realign the door without any complications. Hope this is helpful.

Door won t stay shut

Hate to say it, but that could be anything. I would start by emptying the fridge, shelves, drawers and all and seeing if it closes. 9 times out of 10 I see something obstructing it. If that doesn't doo it, then the door closer may be bad. They have 2 styles on this unit depending on age. either 2 white plastic cams that can break and "squish" out from between the 2 halves of the bottom hinge, or a closer arm that has lost it's tension and needs to be replaced. That would be rare, but it can happen. I have also seen one instance where the pair of switches at the bottom of the door have gotten so hard to push in, that they hold the door open. push those in by hand and make sure they don't resist too much. The other thing that can cause this is a sagging door. the lower hinge can bend or sag and the whole door droops then doesn't allow it to line up correctly with the box. look for signs of that too. Hope this helps.

Frigidaire gas dryer with error code dr.

Dr or DR is a generic door error code. Either the door is not shut properly, door is sagging and not latching properly or the door sensor and the main control board are not communicating correctly. You would need this to be diagnosed by a professional technician in order to properly repair the machine.

Door sags 1996 buick

If you have to lift up on the door and or close it hard--likely a bad hinge --each door has two and you can look into replacing the whole hinge or there are kits with the pin and bushings that can be used to repair a hinge.

Driver door would be most common if car that age and you may just need one of the two hinges replaced/repaired.

Door does not shut tight--bad latch???

usually the door latch will go bad when the door hinge bushings are very worn. Inspect the door hinge by holding the door a grab the outside door handle and the door shell firmly. Now lift the door up vertically and see if there is any play in the hinges. If the slightest movement is found replace the door hinge pins and bushings. your door latch may work great again If not replace that too

Repair door sag on a Chevy Suburan

The door hinges have pins in them. The pins have bushings in the hinge. If you go down to your local parts parts store you will be able to purchase them. They are brass colored. You will need to unbolt the doors and use a punch to hammer out the bushings and use a hammer to replace them.

97 dodge dakota driver door sag, repair.

Likely nothing to adjust.
With the door open, see if the door can be lifted up and down while looking at the hinges. If there is play, the door hinge pins/bushings are worn out, and on some vehicles, the hinges are not serviceable, and replacement will be needed. G/L
