SOURCE: machine says insert dregdrawer
Looks like you have a faulty Dreg Draw Switch or Dump Box. Check the dump box and make sure that the tab that hits the switch is still there. If it has broken then you need a new dump box.

SOURCE: Dregdrawer Full
There is no 'sensor' for this, an internal counter resets when you remove the drawer with the machine switched on and the "Dreg drawer Full" message displayed.
Make sure the machine displays this message "DREG DRAWER FULL" Do NOT turn off the machine, Pull out the drawer that the used grinds are dumped in(you have to remove the drip tray 1st) Check display - it should read "DREG DRAWER MISSING" If the display message is correct, wait 10 seconds then replace the drewer.
Message should be cleared.
If the "dreg drawer missing" does not display, you do have a bad sensor and machine needs to be serviced.

Make sure the machine is clean of coffee grinds. Mine has a nasty habit of dropping them behind the dregdrawer instead of in it. Remove the central unit and give it a good clean. The dregdrawer should then slide back fully into the microswitch.
If this doesn't work, you've probably got a dud microswitch.
SOURCE: how do i empty the dregdrawer on a saeco incanto
When you want to empty the grounds because it says to in the menu, REMEMBER TO LEAVE THE MACHINE ON when you remove the drawer. The machine is a counter and when it reaches the magic number for that machine the message comes on. If the machine is turned off when you pull the drawer out, the machine doesn't know this and the message will be there when you turn the machine back on. Also remember to leave the drawer out for at least 15 seconds or a little longer so the machine thinks you actually dumped the grounds.
SOURCE: Flashing dregdrawer and descaling lights
Descaling helps, but right answer is grinder is stuck. Power down, restart, let it run its start up cycle. before you hit the coffee brew button, use a magnet in place of the coffee bean lid. this will trick it that I has a lid on it, then grab a 10mm socket with extension and ratchet. You will click the coffee brew button while turning the grinder counter clockwise immediately with the 10mm socket right after you click the button or same time if you can manage. Turning the ratchet quick enough for it to slide off as it the grinder starts to spin on its own. I did this twice, kind of a kick start to the grinder. it will dislodge whatever is blocking it and BAM, complete.
The pump will not work if the grinder is not spinning to brew a coffee. so you have to jumpstart the grinder, grind the beans, tamp it and then the pump runs water through it.
