Hi, No, a byproduct of cooling the air is condensation....or dehumidification... so in short.. if you want to cool the air you will also dehumidify it...

it sounds as if you need to clean the coils and make sure both fans are running do you clean the filter regular if you cant do this yourself it would be around 100.00 if you take it somewhere or have someone come out
I think it may be a blown fuse.... My unit is doing the same thing except I'm not getting an error code on the display. I opened the unit and checked the fuse, it was definitely blown. I have to wait till tomorrow to get the new fuse to see if that fixes the load beeping and the non-responsive display.
