By purchasing a natural to propane conversion kit & it also might require the burner orfices to be changed out too. By contacting Wells@ 888-492-2782 with your model & serial # in front of you, they will be able to give you the part #s needed. If they will not sell you the parts then you can probably purchase them from Stove Parts Supply in Ft. Worth Texas

I cannot find a supplier who can provide an LP to nat gas conversion kit for my 4 burner grill made under the name: Ducane, model # 30400040. Can you assist? Marlin

Perhaps, the reason you can't find the fuel conversion parts is that they are not convertible from one fuel type to another. Ducane/Weber makes both an LP model and a Natural Gas model of your grill, but no conversion kits. Because, as the Owners Manual states "Liquid propane gas is not natural gas. The conversion or attempted use of natural gas in a liquid propane unit or liquid propane
gas in a natural gas unit is dangerous and will void your warranty."

http://help.weber.com/manuals/ducane/2009%20Manuals%20pdf/Affinity_3400_4400_NG_OwnersManual_27010342_061008.pdf

Certainly, you could attempt it, Marlin . But it's not the wise thing to do.

I know this wasn't the answer you may have wanted, but I hope it helps you.

I have a small counter top fryer set up for lp gas how do i change to nat

check the supplier for the conversion kit.the kit contains burner orifice, pilot orifice and gas valve spring which are commonly needed for conversion from propane to natural gas or from natural gas to propane.
****natural gas orifice has larger bore than propane, gas valve spring for propane is thicker than for natural gas.

Converion kit to natural gas.

I don't believe Weber makes a gas conversion kit for your model grill. I say this, because your model grill comes two ways, Natural Gas or Propane. This indicates to me, that there's more than just changing the burner orifices involved.

I can tell you this ... If you could convert it to Natural Gas, you would soon discover that the grill doesn't preheat as fast as with propane. Nor, will it maintain heat as well as propane, in an outdoor environment. Propane burns cleaner and hotter than Natural Gas in an outdoor environment.

Sure, it may seem like a hassle to refill and change the tank, but I can assure you, you won't be satisfied with it's performance.

Hi im a plumber/gas fitter who has been asked if i can convert a wildcat 410 (a2) ser 1983 from lpg to ng which is currently in use at a crash repair spray booth is this possible?

Yes look up the gas valve part # and find the LP kit for that model number. It will come with new pilot orifice, new burner orifices and the springs to replace inside the gas valve. Remember that natural gas is .08"wc and LP is a heavier gas it needs to be set at 11"wc .You need a manometer to check the pressure before you light it again .Did you know that propane provides more energy per unit volume than natural gas. Heat is measured in BTUs, or British Thermal Units. Propane provides about 2500 BTUs for the same volume of natural gas that only gives 1000 BTUs.

Switched from natural gas to propane now oven flames up sides how do I fix? Model#362.75571691

Propane and natural gas are two different fuels and require adjustments to the appliances to which theye are connected. Typically, when converting to propane from natural gas, a pressure regulator and a change in gas jets are required. This is because propane has a different heating value (hotter) and behaves differently.

Also, propane doesn't burn as cleanly as natural gas so after you have made the hardware changes, if you start to smell something in the kitchen, you may need to crack a window slightly to provide for better venting.

Please be careful
