Hi, TA code refers to maintenance all counter has reached its specified limit. This usually means all the consumable parts have reached the end of their service life. If you have a maintenance contract with a Sharp dealer then they should replace all the units that require replacing & reset the maintenance counters for you, if you don't then, if the copy quality is still ok, you should be able to continue to use the machine as normal.
Hope this helps.
Dave.
This is a scheduled maintenance error. It can be reset, but if you see it on the screen you likely need some preventative maintenance. If you're in the Houston, TX area we'd be glad to be your servicing dealer.
The TA code refers to the maintenance cycle of the copier. Its the copiers way of saying ''come and see if im ok''. I would recommend resetting the maintenance counters for your drums, developer, fuser and transfer belts. This can be done in the engineers menus.
Maintenance TA is indicating the machine has reached its 100K scheduled service interval. It requires Transfer Belt Unit, Usually Black Drum & Developer, any feed rollers wornout replaced, any old firmware updated to latest version, and a general clean & check. It is reset in service mode once these parts are replaced.
Ok so the TA code means that the all maintenance counter has reached its limit
To clear this you need to clear this easy you want
# , * , c , *
To enter service mode
Type in code 24 press start
Then you want sub code04
Then you can select what you want to clear so the maintenance count all
Execute this yes then press the CA key the machine will restart and away you go
I also do advise that you service representative comes along at some point to check the machine it could need parts because if you stretch the life of parts your machine could become unreliable... But that is up to you.
