You printer is listed as Current model and is not obsolete. However
the latest firmware (Nov 30, 2009) seems 3.15
Note the 3 different files based on your serial number
No. The company that purchase SnapLab printers from Sony said they are not updating their Mac drivers, only their Windoze drivers. They called me back asking if I wanted a 20 series and I said No, I spent $1000 on this one and I'm going to make it work. I reinstaklled OS 10.6 and use Aperture tethered to an old Nikon D200 for photobooth usage at weddings. Did the driver work for you using 10.7???
power on printer. tap top left screen twice. Enter admin password (9999 is default) go through options. Also if you tap the top right of the screen twice it will tell you the remaining pics u have.
Hope this helps
Yes, but you will need to upgrade the printer's version to the latest version. Go to http://www.kobisonline.com/Sony-SnapLab-UPCR10L-Snap-Lab-Digital-Photo-Printer-UP-CR10L_p_9.html for thefirmware upgrade link
Sounds like your SnapLab's power supply is dead. You will have to send to repair, or order the part and replace yourself (if you think you are qualified to do that yourself...)
Make sure the PC option on the admin* tab is checked ON (default if off). *You enter the admin by tapping twice on the top left corner on the screen, and enter 9999 which is the default passcode. Contact www.kobis.com if you have any other questions
You need to copy the border you created in the border creater software to a border folder on you computer that you have created to store you borders in.There is a folder on the CD that came with the machine that
I would suggest you copy to your hardrive as this will need to then be copied to a compact flash card that is then installed in the expansion slot on the inside of the ribbon carrier door.If you save your new border to the folder on you hardive you can always back it up at anytime. If you
print different sizes you will need to create a border for each size of print. Once you have installed the card in the machine switch it on and
go to the print option screen and you will see the border ikon is not greyed out but now active simply select this option and the the border you require. Then it should print.
The printer is probably damaged, so, call Sony tech at 1-800-883-6817 x21 . If they will not be able to trouble shoot the problem, they will direct you to the repair facility. You have 1 year warranty on this printer if purchased from an authorized Sony dealer.
Good luck!
