How can i improve the clarity of my voice when talking on my phone

Page 42 onwards. Page 43 says it has an On/Off feature, so it sounds like it has been inadvertently turned off.

I would suggest contacting Nokia Care and getting the device repaired or replaced under warranty.

Have you checked if the voice call volume has been turned right down.

If you also have voice mail through your phone service provider, it's possible that while you are on the phone, the incoming call is "waiting" (meaning you are hearing a beep while you are still talking assuming you have call waiting). If you don't pick up the incoming call, your caller will hear your "voice mail" message and leave a message. However, your answering machine will not indicate that you have a message.

Goto menu>setting>General>Voice control>play caller name>select on

then back to voice control>voice dialing>activate>edit names>then record sound for desired caller name...

Assuming you have the audio volume turned up, do you have a bluetooth headset? Check the Bluetooth options to make sure there are no associated bluetooth devices (or just turn bluetooth off).

If that still doesn't work, try clicking the trackwheel and seeing if it says "Mute" or "Unmute" respectively.

If you still can't hear the callers voice, you may have a defective earpiece in the phone and it's time for repair. If you don't have a bluetooth headset, you can try to use one of those to hold a conversation. I have my bluetooth headset around my neck at all times, I can't stand talking without it. As an added bonus, people who can't see my earpiece in my ear thinks I'm talking to myself.

Problem is in phone's microphone. Take it to a service center.

caller iq(ID) is simply the number(or name is you have stored it) that displays when someone calls you.
It is a feature available on most phones incase you do want to hide your number from the person you are calling but also mind you that it is network supported which means that some network providers do not allow you to hide your number from people you call so you wont be able to make calls at all should you hide your caller ID.

Voice enhacer(s) also works in a way to improve your audibility when you speak........it is to improve or increase your mic volume or sensitivity when you make calls.
this feature is mostly not available on most handset. They mostly are made automatic to work in certain conditions.
An example is like this: you are in the market place and the noise is so much that the person you are talking to on the phone can hardly hear you..............with the manual voice enhancer you can tune your mic volume to increase your audibility, but then the automatic voice enhacer will adjust to the condition(realising it is a noisy one) and will increase the mic volume for better clearity in speech.

so having a phone with such functions you are assured of a good product.
