Well, your problem isnt the tv, you need to go into the dvd player turn on the source--eg, aux, av, component, choose the oe that the av cords are connected to on the back of player and into tv. hope this helps :)
Hello Hook the TV to DVD player with AV cable. Select AV from the TVs menu. This is the pciutr of the AV cable. It will have three wires, and you should connect it with your DVD and TV according to its instructions. OK.
Hi, Hook audio/ video cable from dvd player to AV input of tv and select that AV input in tv to watch dvd playback picture. You will see yellow jack (for video signal output) and red-white jacks (for audio left-right output signal) at rear of dvd player, plug AV Cable and hook it in AV input of tv, make sure yellow pin connected in yellow jacks of dvd and tv. Thanks.
you should see a button marked "av" on the remote, press that and you will find the dvd on the av socket you connected to. alternativly, scrolling down with the ch down button sometimes allows you to goto the av channels.
Red = right sound channel, white = left sound channel and yellow = video (picture) channel. if you have the connections matching these on the tv, then there should be an AV channel on the remote/tv control panel. Select this channel to view, if more than one AV channel on the tv, there will be a number next to the sockets you plugged into. Select the AV number and away you go. If your tv doesn't have the correct sockets you can buy a converter to use the ariel socket on the tv.
hey 1st of all you gotta make sure that your son made tha right connections with the av cable (this is the cable with three different coloured pins) from your DVD to your tv. if this doesnt solve your problem then make sure you are using the correct av channel on your tv set that will allow you 2 play your DVD player because sometimes you cant play your DVD on thhe same av cannel you watch normal tv
You will need to go back into the menu and see what ia available in the video input mode. You may have switched the type of input you can use such as default or componts ect. If you have an isntruction manual, look in there or call the manufacturer, should also be in the instruction or user manual. Good Luck
