SOURCE: wii console

Did you try turning the disk over so the label shows on the opposite side. With the Wii you have to put them in upside down it seems.

SOURCE: wii game disc's not loading

The lens in your wii disk drive might be dirty or scratched. Try putting in a regular head cleaning cd. The problem is that the wii will not read it but it might spin it round enough while trying to read it to clean the lens. You could also do it manually by taking your wii apart but i wouldn't recommend it personally due to the large quantity of things that break easily and the amount of screws to be taken out that are easy to lose.

Hope this helps,

Mowcius

SOURCE: wii console

If it only clicks when you put a disc in then it is out of balance and the sound is your disc smacking around inside a bit. Usally the drives will fail soon around that time

SOURCE: wii makes a buzzing sound when discs are running

The noise is the wii working extra hard to read the disk the lens might be dirty. Your wii might also have a bomb in it.............Just kidding. I would try cleaning the inside and if all is bad send it in to get fixed

My wii console won't load discs

are you sure there isn't one still in there? These things cannot really be fixed yourself, but you can take it in if still under warranty, if not your local electronic repair shop should be fairly cheap, it is a common problem, and at least if they do the work, they are responsible for it.

Every time we try to load the game, a Error comes up saying that the disc cannot be read, or that an error has occured, and to remove the game disc and turn the wii off.

The disc may be too scratched up for the console. Try to clean the Disc with a microfiber cloth (or something that won't scratch it) and use a dvd lens cleaner on it to remove smudges.
If the disc is in good condition, then the laser on the Wii may be wearing out. That means that you will have to send the Wii to Nintendo to get it fixed or find someone who has Wii parts and knows how to take apart and repair a Wii.

How do I get the game to start

1. Turn on the Wii Console.

2. Insert disc into Wii console. Make sure it's facing the right way! The label side of the disc should be on the skinny side of the console (the side without the Power, Reset and Eject buttons).

3. Point to and click on the Disc Channel (should be the most top left channel).

4. When the game has loaded, the channel will update itself and display the game/disc title as well as an option to start/play. Click on this option to start the game.

An official guide for how to start a game can be found on Nintendo's support page. They actually provide guides for many different common tasks, in case you require additional help.

Enjoy your gaming!

My console is not loading games. makes a clicking noises please help i just got it.

Your DVD drive is bad. It's trying to focus on the disc and is bumping it as it focuses thus you hear the clicking sound - it cannot focus because there is a problem with the laser lens.

Wont load discs

If Wii gives Disc Read Error, first step you need to check is to try another disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem is with either Wii or Disc. If the console itself is giving disc read error then it needs to be repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide, that will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. My Wii makes an annoying buzzing sound

I think thats normal. If your really annoyed about it, Play some music that cancels out the noise. I'm sure the in-game music your playing should go over the buzzing noise.

Wii will not CDs anymore

continuous clicking could be a few gear-related issues: -if the pinion gear is slipping against the rack for the disc-load mechanism, you can try to re-align the rack (hopefully it was just forced out of place and can be clicked back). i would suspect this if the noise is relatively quiet and very fast. -if something is jamming the load mechanism, like the rack is stuck, the pinion gear may be clicking over the teeth of the rack. i would suspect this if the noise is loud and slower. Either way, you'd probably need to open the console. )=.
