SOURCE: how to clean pump filter on lg wm2688hwm

No, probably have a bad water pump, very common for this washer. I would pull the washer out, lean it against your wall, brace or block it up so you can crawl under it. You will see where the drain hose comes out of the bottom left of the drum and enters the drain filter. Remove the hoses and check for debris or clothes in the hoses or where the drum outlet is. If no restrictions then replace your water pump. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

I have a Haier HWD1600 washer dryer combo that I am getting an error 2 on. It will not drain the water out and I have not been able to clear it for the past two months

Its a common error,
Error message:Drain error, water can be not drained fully within the required drain time
Reason 1. Pump filter is blocked.
Solution 1. Please open and clean the pump filter. (Filter access door is on the bottom right, at floor level of the washing machine)
Step 1.Push a flat blade screwdriver into the slot on the filter cover and pull it open ,do not use excessive force.(Fig 1).
Step 2.Remove the rubber hose from its clip and stand a suitable container under it, remove the bung to drain the water (Fig 2-3)
Step 3.Replace the bung and fit it back into its clip (Fig 4-5).
Step 4. Unscrew the filter and rinse it under running water, replace it and close the flap(Fig 6-7-8).
Caution:
1. The filter must be in place during operation, ensure it is in place after cleaning to avoid leakage.
2.Place a container under the drain pump filter, to collect any excess water that may come out of the drain pump when the filter is removed.

Reason 2. Drain hose end is higher than 100cm above the floor level.
Solution 2. Please adjust the height of drain hose to 80-100cm above the floor.

Reason 3. Drain hose is blocked or twisted.
Solution 3. Please check and clean the drain hose for blockage.

Reason 4. Drain hose is too long, or water is back filling from waste water pipes.
Solution 4. Remove any extension to the original drain hose.
Ensure the highest part of the drain hose is nearest the washing machine.Check the waste water pipes in the building are clear of any obstructions and flow freely.

Washer will stop after rinse cycle and says OE. Then is will not drain rinse water.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

OE is a drain error and is displayed when the washer is unable to drain water. Please check the drain hose and drain pump filter for any clogs to clean the error. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

LG F1406TDSP6 Washing machine starts washing ok then when it comes to drain after a while the error message ERROR - CHECK DRAIN HOSE AND FILTER. We have checked all this and all pumps are clean and hoses...

It can be that the drain pump is consuming more currrent than is required from the board as the processor senses that this is a malfunction and so shuts down as a safety mode.
So recheck on your drain valve/pump . test from the outside. If not the fault can be failure of the pump driver in the main board causing the error related to the drain pump.
Check the main board .

I have an LG washer/dryer combo wm3987h. I had the OE error which I followed instructions on how to fix now my machine comes on but it does nothing despite me picking a cycle. It does not wash, dry or...

OE = Drain error. Cause: not fully drained within 10 minutes
Check there isn't a kink in your drain hose, ensure the filter is clean, the drain hose can become clogged with sludge, sometimes a hot wash with 1/2 a cup of vinegar will remove this sludge.

My washer, model number GHW9100LW2, is stopping when it gets to the drain/rinse cycle and showing an error message F2 on the display. What does the F2 error message mean?

“F02” is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a “SUDS” error may also be generated as a secondary error. This is an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

1. Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
2. Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
3. Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.

To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions.

If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump

My model wdc1025 will not drain wash water or rinse water

Hi

If the washer is not draining then it is due to a clogged drain pump or a drain filter or a kinked drain hose. To resolve the issue you’ll need to clean the drain hose, inspect if the drain hose is plugged. If the hose is fine, then remove the front kick panel and access the drain pump and filter, if you are unable to find the pump and filter remove the back panel as well and trace the drain hose to the bottom of the tub. There is a drain filter connected with the drain pump. It usually gets clogged, and needs to be cleaned every 6-8 months or so. The drain filter is a small white filter connected to drain pump with a hose. If it still doesn’t work then you’ll need to check the connections of the drain pump, check the connections with a multimeter. If it still doesn’t work then you would need to replace the drain pump. Please revert for any further assistance. Hope this helps...

Lg front loader not drainig, error code comes up.

Humming usually means that the motor is being physically prevented from spinning. Check that there isn't a small coin or similar jammed in the impeller blades...The motors on those pumps also can collect debris INSIDE the pump motor behind the impeller seal..That would require a new pump motor. Check impeller first!....Good luck.....Nomess

"OE" message

OE is actually DE - Drain Error. Pop open the little door on the bottom left of your washer, and unscrew the cap on the little tube on the left. ***Water will drain out!***
Once the water is out, unscrew the bigger tube on the right. This holds your drain filter. It is likely clogged, so clean it out and reinstall the filter and cap from the small hose.
Hopefully this fixes it!

Bosch wfr2460

The 03 error code is the drain. Disconnect the drain hoses and check for blockages. If no blockage "time" the drain interval. If it's more than 6 minutes it's the pump. Also make sure you're using the correct type of soap so the ball check valve on the bottom of the outer drum isn't getting fouled with excessive suds. Also disconnect the drain hose from your house plumbing and let it free flow on it's own. This will tell you if the block is in your plumbing, and not in the machine. Assuming that your filter is clean.

My husband has just installed a LG LD 14AW2 which was given to us

OE = Outlet Error It involves everything related to pumping the water out. Easiest is to start at the drain and work back. Check for a plugged drain. then a kink in the drain hose. A plugged hose?
If problem remains, remove lower rack and unscrew/remove the filter from the sump area, looking for debris. Rinse out any filter in the mesh filter. Look again for anything that is blocking the drain outlet. Reassemble and run a cycle.
If problems continue, the probable cause is a failing pump motor. Servce call time.
Good Luck!
