Remove your battery's for at least for 10 sec and reset the remote if still the same problem then you should replace it just be sure that the universal remote is compatible with your unit.

because you have the temperature set at 28 degrees celcuis . Change the temperature to 18 degrees and it will cool 28 is hotter
It is a reverse cycle air conditioner it will warm the room if you set temperature to 28 degrees . Set it lower and it will blow out cold air.
Have exact same air conditioner as I recognise the remote control.
point it at the air conditioner when altering the temperature setting.
Check under the slide compartment also on the remote for more advanced settings.

The control looks set to 21 C. At this setting only cold air will flow. Please set the air temp to 28+ for the hot air to flow.

If you can't change the settings manually, then the control pad is bad. If you can and the remote won't change the temp or mode then the remote is bad and will need to be replaced.

You probibly have it set for cold weather start or something

manually lock the door with the key this may reset the alarm

you have pressed the mode button on remote until it has said heat aswell? becasue 28 degrees in cool mode will still seem cold unless the mode is also set to heat.

You need the remote to set it on cold instead of just fan.
